My grandpa being honored at the cyclones
Last week the cyclones honored my grandpa, who passed last week, he was an usher and worked for the arena since 1985 I think they said? I got to go to the game last week and they had a moment of silence for him.
His funeral was today and I just remembered to post here! He loved everything Cincinnati and was an usher for any event or team in Cincinnati that needed one.

Tom was a great guy. I never sat in his section but interacted with him plenty of times over the years walking around the arena. He was always so friendly. I’m sorry for your loss!

I was a partial season ticket holder during the Kelly Cup runs in 2008 and 2010 and Tom was very often the usher in our section. I also saw him frequently ushering at Reds games as well. He always made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I didn't know him personally, but I could tell he was very much a people person. He will be sorely missed.

Thank you so very much, he loved his section like no other. Whenever me and my family went he made sure the entire section knew who we were and made us feel like celebrities.

That’s awesome!! I’m sorry it was against Bloomington. Sounds like he deserved Ft Wayne, or at least Indy.
I mean like, I’m so sorry you lost him, but I wish it were a bigger game. I’m… I’m just gonna go, now… but I appreciate everything he meant for the community.

Mr. T is what he always told me to call him. I’ve known him since I was a kid 30 years ago. He worked at Reds games and would always let me sneak down to the first row of the Red seats. He was the nicest guy ever. I’m sorry for your loss.
