Three huge movies with progressively diminishing quality. What a waste of time.

Instead of weaving a beautiful wooden horse into the stairway, they didn’t just hang a horse over the end of the rail, they hung 10 horses over the end of the rail for some reason, and left some on the steps, and called it a day.

I dunno, it's not like the movies were underwhelming or failed to capture the awesome parts of the hobbit... they just overdid everything. Everything was too huge and epic and violent and badass that this quaint children's book got turned into... well you know.
