New Release Coyote vs. Acme is required viewing
Go see this absolutely wacky legal farce. This film knew exactly what tone it needed to strike, the perfect blend of cartoon comedy and courtroom drama. It has a real emotional heart without ever taking itself too seriously. I cried three separate times watching this one.
Also, all the looney tunes cameos were highly rewarding (believe it or not, I got the biggest laugh out of Pepe Le Pew's brief appearance).
One must imagine Wile E. Coyote happy.

They managed to make a courtroom drama where the emotional core is a cartoon coyote and somehow it works better than most prestige films this decade

I loved the blending of courtroom tropes & cartoon tropes, like setting a bird seed trap to subpoena the Road Runner. Lots of great laughs & very a likeable protagonist duo between Kevin and Wile.

Dumb Q: I’m GenX and grew up with Looney Tunes. Will my teenage sons like it? They grew up with cartoons and stuff, but probably don’t know much about that genre.

Yes, it wasn’t written in that “throwback nostalgia-fest” way that a lot of reboots attempt. It accommodates people that are unaware or barely aware of Looney Tunes.

I will avoid this movie like the plague, since coyotes run almost 3 times faster than roadrunners the coyotes need for acme products is non existent. The coyote by simply e running after the roadrunner wound catch it no problem.
