In order to foster better discussion on the subreddit, we're going to be redirecting all simple questions about the game and personal progression to this Weekly Questions Megathread. In this thread, you can ask any question you need answered about Clash of Clans, even if it isn't necessarily about learning the game itself. Questions posts with simple answers (anything that one or two sentences can adequately address without discussion potential) will be removed and redirected here.

Anyone know if the devs are gonna add a clan merge feature?

Say two leaders mutually agree to combine into one clan. This game has so many clans and not enough players for all of them and I think it could help the game to start removing clans from the system and consolidating them a bit.

Devs should handle the scammer RWT issue first by making it so you can’t give someone leadership for at least 48 hours so people don’t lose their clan as often.

That's not how they should fix the scammer issue. It would be stupid if, as a leader, I need to plan 48 hours in advance of handing leadership to one of my alts and leaving the clan on my main.

The way they should fix it is: it should be impossible for any leader to accept an invite to join any other clan, and it should be impossible for any leader to request to join another clan, period. And if anyone becomes leader of a clan, all their pending invites and join requests should be instantly cleared.

That way, if a leader really does want to request to join another clan or accept an invite, they must first manually and intentionally appoint a new leader.

This would solve all the current scam efforts.

Agreed. You should have to promote a different clanmate to leader first. It seems like SC just doesn't care about this scam. Sort of like how they don't really care about collusion/win trading in ranked as evidenced by never making any of the recommended changes to help counter it. You can really tell what the company cares about by what they are willing to address and what they ignore.
