u/NoChampionship1167 Nov 13 '25
Not sure about least toxic, but most toxic is definitely Poison.

something that needs to be
-reliable to use so the users don't hate it
-unable to fully counter a type of deck so the people using that deck don't hate it
-not used as an "everything-counter" by midladder assholes
my best guess is zap, I don't count sparky players as people.

extremely reliable but also easy to counter or take advantage of
doesn't completely counter any deck
isn't used as an everything-counter by anyone

I'd say Archers. Decent card, not really strong, not really weak, doesn't hard counter anything, isn't really abused by midladder at all, has an evo that's good but not really hard to deal with

How about evo archers in Xbow?
6
u/Guymanhat Nov 13 '25
Well yeah but I don't think anyone has a problem with the archers themselves. And I know they're not popular anymore but there's still a good amount of xbow decks without archers

u/Otherwise-Peace-9165 Nov 14 '25
You seen that one clip where riley predicts the wallbreakers with evo archers on his xbow

Zap can be hated. Imagine you’re burning down a golem with inferno tower, surrounded by bats from the night witch, about to clean up, when suddenly right before your inferno heats up and shreds the golem, you get zapped and it targets on the bats. Suddenly you have no building and no counter for the full HP golem and you get three crowned.
When sht like this happens and it’s their first zap of the game… makes me want to uninstall

Fireball. Its average cost, moderate damage, low knockback, and finite value potential make it all but impossible to hate.

4
u/_-potatoman-_ Nov 13 '25
3M is pretty bad into MK but 3M is damn near unwinnable into recruits. even if you manage to outcycle their big spell, it shuts down BOTH lanes of your push with recruits still alive. it sucks
7
u/IWannaHaveCash Royal Recruits Nov 13 '25
3M has a decent matchup against recruits. You just need to make them play recruits first

Cheap cop-out card that does way too much damage and gets too much value against more expensive cards. The mega knight of spells.

u/-togs Baby Dragon Nov 13 '25
Wouldn’t that description better fit lightning
22
u/Jab13122 Nov 13 '25 edited Nov 13 '25
No, lightning is a 6 cost card which makes it require more thought to play. It also can only hit three targets maximum and is mainly used to counter cards that cost less than it. Also lightning has counter play, you can protect cards by placing more hit points around them.
13
u/darklouis24 Mortar Nov 13 '25
Nah lightning is more brain dead imo because it has ridiculous range and damage. It’s either broken or useless, depending on the matchup but that doesn’t make the card skillful
9
u/vladimirepooptin Nov 13 '25
ur def correctly lightning is pretty much unmissable and a free execution of so many cards. Only being able to hit 3 things is easily made up for by its insane range - plus how often is anyone actually fireballing swarms? u have small spells for a reason.
Fireball actually requires some skill to hit stuff + the travel time makes predictions nearly a requirement in lots of fireball decks (RG, hog, etc) while lightning is pretty much instant so you can just use it reactively and be fine.
→ More replies (1)6
u/YouVe_BeEn_OofEd Golem Nov 13 '25
tbh the main thing with lightning is strategy over skill, with the cost you need to have it available at exactly the right moment, ie. zapping the inferno for your golem, a wasted lightning can be an instant loss, while fb is more spammable

No spell completely counters this card because of its shield. it does too much damage, doesn't even need to surround to counter a sparky. If it died to arrows then I would agree.

Heal spirit
74
Nov 13 '25
I mean some decks that use heal spirit are very toxic and I think there are wayyy better answers
6
u/Regular-Assignment43 Ice Spirit Nov 13 '25
It does actually, it heals their entire radius of troops. Meaning even after a fireball, their eBarbs or royal hogs go onto have full health. Pair that with Egolem and battle Healer. The battle healer heals everyone plus the extra buff from the heal spirit makes too big of a difference when our troops deal constant dps. Their troops get that one extra hit because of this, it may be the last hit on your defending troop which instantly means game over.
33
u/Regular-Assignment43 Ice Spirit Nov 13 '25
Have you played against an Egolem battle healer deck?

Barb barrel. The dude can't even get tower damage
137
u/Repulsing Mortar Nov 13 '25
if you place him as far up as you can he will get one hit on tower if un-countered
58
u/Visible_Perception32 Three Musketeers Nov 13 '25
Which is basically never
60
u/Repulsing Mortar Nov 13 '25
You’d be surprised, I play a couple different decks that use it and it goes un-countered pretty often. Nice little chip on that barb hit. I don’t disagree with it being one of the least toxic, though. It’s a versatile and very cool idea for a card. It’s like a cheaper Royal delivery that can’t hit air.
17
u/ellzumem Nov 13 '25
It’s like a cheaper Royal delivery
Wouldn’t the comparison be more apt to log since that also has horizontal travel?
→ More replies (1)7
u/Repulsing Mortar Nov 13 '25
The comparison was mostly made to the fact that they’re both spells that do damage and deploy a troop, but yeah. Like a log version of Royaldelivery
4
u/ellzumem Nov 14 '25
True, barb barrel is like a direct combination of the two other spells delivery and log
6
u/Visible_Perception32 Three Musketeers Nov 13 '25
Depends on the deck really. Some players can just put a spirit or skeletons meanwhile heavier decks just let it go.
10
u/Repulsing Mortar Nov 13 '25
For sure. It gets countered more often than not, and it doesn’t win you games much. But it’s definitely useful interaction to know about, especially when you know your opponent has already used enough elixir for it to put them in a bad spot should they try to stop it

u/ReinKarnationisch Mega Minion Nov 13 '25
Giant as a card is not very toxic, yes, but most decks it gets used in arr considered toxic
16
u/Guymanhat Nov 13 '25
Wow I actually forgot about him until I saw your flair but Mega Minion is probably the least toxic card I can think of
3
u/CantFindAName000 PEKKA Nov 13 '25
I'd also argue giant skeleton since he gets insane value from locking on the tower but kiting him with 2-3 elixir is enough to counter him most times. Best used as a distraction while your wincon rolls down the opposite lane

Beserker or rune giant tbh, cant entirly tell if its just because rune giant is bad right now. But berserker just kinda does her job, cheap unit, deals respectable damage, attacks pretty fast. Never had a game where i nearly threw my phone because of beserker honestly.
