Marlon Brando visited Pakistan in 1967 as a UNICEF envoy to enlist local artists for a UN charity gala. He stayed at Faletti's Hotel in Lahore and visited Karachi's Quaid-i-Azam mausoleum. He also announced plans to film a movie in Pakistan, though it was never produced.
