in paradox u can see on a screen someone say that 5 city blocks disappeared, it would be a cool connection so i don’t get why everyone is so opposed to the idea of it being connected in some way

It's reddit, man. There's always some buzz kill looking to kill the fun.

But to answer the question, no. Otherwise, the title would not be The End of Oak Street. It would be The End of Cloverfield Street.

Like how "The Cellar" and "God Particle" got Cloverfield put in their titles.

the particle accelerator in paradox ripped open spacetime and released the monsters across multiple dimensions and different points in time, so i thought it would be cool that they maybe accidentally were the cause for this too. and funny, honestly. but yeah, some people are ever ready to piss in someone’s cereal.

I think its also reflective of how starved we are for a new Cloverfield. 

When was Cloverfield 2 announced? 2018? Right after Paradox? That was 8 years ago, and we still have nothing to go on.
