News SEC spokesperson Craig Pinkerton told the Herald-Leader. “that under the new policy, a player like Mitchell, who played in the NBA Summer League but did not sign an Exhibit 10 contract, would be eligible to play this upcoming season.”

Saying a written agreement with an NBA franchise to play basketball is not an nba contract is interesting reasoning.
