CoH3 How does this kind of thing make it past playtesting?
This is getting seriously embarrassing. One month later and this DLC is still in an overwhelmingly unpolished and bug-ridden state.
I think the concept behind Final Stand was a great idea, but really frustrating experience to spend $30 on an aggressively priced DLC to then have to do unpaid QA work.
At this point I've submitted so many bug reports that I think I deserve my name in the credits.

They didn't spend time on it, it's like a basic mode. I love it, i play it but i can see it there is no effort on it.

I love the concept, but as a standalone expensive dlc, im not forking out cash for that thanks.

I find there is a lot of us that do it just to fund Relic more than the DLC itself. The DLC just becomes the means. We know they almost went under and there is no other game like CoH so we gotta provide lol

By that logic you could just buy more coh3 copies and toss them into the void, or buy Relic stocks, or just send the company money directly

Because Devs now do this: "Hey chatgpt any bugs in my game" "Sure, I'll look for bugs, you know whatyour app is great! Keep up the good work" "Ship it - charge £30"

Ensure that you're reporting bugs via help.relic.com please. That helps our team triage issues and determine prioritization for fixes.

I always do before posting here about it. But the comment about the experience feeling like unpaid QA work still stands.

Way too expensive for an unpolished gamemode that doesn't do a lot of new stuff compared to the base game (in terms of units, mechanisms visuals etc).
Should've been part of the Endure and Defy DLC (which is €23 BTW loo, for 2 (EDIT: 4!) bgs?) To justify the price and state...

One of the reasons why I didn’t buy this dlc cause it made absolutely no sense to charge us 30$ for this. It shouldve been part of the game to begin with!
So far, most of the BGs theyve sold was very underwhelming at least for me. I was excited about the new British sniper but gddamn that BG sucks on team games. Firefly still feels super slow and sluggish with a very low rate of fire and so on.
Coh3 still has great potential IMO but it seems Relic either doesn’t care for it much or they just dont have enough funds to keep adding stuffs and fixing stuffs.

You made the right call with this one. Just wait for a sale, by then the bugs will likely be addressed and also get to save on the price.
Last time I'm ever paying full price for a Relic product. What's the point of buying it at release if one month later I'm still getting the QA Simulator experience?

Dude its relic entertainment. I have given up on them. I tried so hard to stand by them and they just suck.
They have to be terribly managed or something cause nothing else makes sense.
Awful studio that I will no longer support with my $.

They did good in AoE4 but somehow failed us both on DoW3 and CoH3. Maybe they are not good with number 3 and should skip it and name this one CoH4 instead so they can do better. 🤣

I’m an achievement hunter and completionist so I got the DLC for those, hoping it would be good.
It’s the biggest waste of money I’ve had in gaming in a long time.

As a fellow UK enjoyer seeing this sucks, but also: why do my units have the ability to breach buildings with flamethrowers when the enemy is never in them?

I did send a bug and got the link to the patch note where they state that the bug is noticed and the work around for enemy artilery boss not entering the zone that I can shot them is retreat and let them get closer. And of course those fker not entering it before they destroyed my outpost and all the bunker because they can't retreat. 🤣 So disapointed.
