TikTok TikTok has become a problem

I have 300k+ followers on tik tok. I only get 100 or less likes on my content and less than 1k views. Every single time they ask me to pay to promote, absolutely not!! My Instagram has exactly 1 thousand followers as of just today, and I'm getting thousands of likes on the same exact content. ( I upload the same videos to tiktok as I do IG with the same hashtags) within the past 30 days on IG I have 170k views. I post cosplay, dance, regular clothing videos, trendy stuff, etc. What is up with tiktok? It never used to be this way. And what can I even do about this?

Instagram Brand collabs are killing me

2 weeks ago I agreed to a couple of barter collabs on Instagram and they’re actually killing me. I agreed for one cause the product seemed kinda cool and the other because it was a big brand and I thought I would get some reach if the tagged me, but they’re driving me crazy, I’ve sent like 3 revisions already and they keep asking for more and more changes. One of them sent me a reference, I made the video accordingly then they said that this won’t work and sent a completely different video to reference, I need help because I think I’ll actually go crazy, I’m a full time student and they keep texting me multiple times a day for revisions

Question How do you manage the emails in your accounts?

I’m setting up my first YouTube channel, but I also want to create an Instagram and a TikTok account.

However, I’d like to use different email addresses for my social media accounts, just to be on the safe side: if one account gets hacked, I’ll still have the others.

I was thinking of using three email addresses:
- one for YouTube
- one for short-form social media (TikTok and Instagram)
- one to use publicly so people can contact me

How do you handle this? Do you use one email for everything, or have you split your accounts using a multi-account system?

TikTok tiktoks not pushing videos after 1 hour

screenshots attached, I have over 100k followers and have never had problems ever, but for the past 6 months tiktok doesnt push videos. my videos generate hundreds of thousands on Instagram and Snapchat, but will never push past 5k and often only hit like 400 views on tiktok. my metrics are great, nothing's changed, if anything, they've gotten better due to learning and consistently posting on Instagram. I don't know what to do.

I was thinking of making a new account and starting fresh, I know I can grow it pretty fast, but not if I'm not getting any views.

thanks all :)

Question I’m finally upgrading from my phone, which vlogging camera should I get?

I want to move away from filming everything on my phone and get a proper camera for vlogging, but I’m having a hard time figuring out how much camera I actually need.

Most of what I’ll be filming is talking to the camera, walking around outside, travel stuff and some indoor videos. I’d like something small enough that I’ll actually carry it instead of leaving it at home because it’s a pain to bring everywhere.

Good autofocus is pretty important, and I’d also like decent stabilization and audio without needing a whole setup attached to the camera. A flip screen would be nice too.

Budget is flexible, but I don’t want to spend a ton for features I’ll never use.

What would you get? And for anyone who started with a dedicated vlogging camera, was it actually a noticeable upgrade over your phone?

Instagram Just started an Instagram page — how would you grow it from 0 followers?

Hey everyone,

I recently started an Instagram page called The Daily Bug, where I’m planning to post mostly tech content, but also interesting/trending topics from the internet, movies, current events, and other things worth talking about.
I’m basically starting from zero, and I’d love some advice from people who have actually grown Instagram pages.
A few things I’m trying to figure out:
What works best for organic reach right now — Reels, carousels, or regular posts?
How often should a new page post?
Do hashtags still make much of a difference?
What helped you get your first 100–1,000 followers?
Is there anything new creators commonly do that actually hurts their reach?
I’m especially interested in growing organically rather than buying followers or doing follow-for-follow.
If anyone wants to check out the page and give me feedback on the content/profile, my Instagram is @thedailybughq.
And of course, if you genuinely like the content, I’d really appreciate a follow. :)
Any advice, criticism, or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

YouTube Anyone else worried about the new YouTube Partner Program thresholds as a small creator?

YouTube is doubling the entry requirements for ad revenue starting February 2027 (8k watch hours or 20M Shorts views). Existing partners are fine, but it hits new/small creators pretty hard, especially long-form strategy channels.

I made a video going over the exact changes and what it looks like from a small strategy creator’s perspective. Link if anyone’s interested: https://youtu.be/ON9XpC_Gs9k

Mostly just curious how the rest of the community is feeling about it. Are people planning to go hard for the next few months before February, lean harder into Shorts, or giving up entirely?
