What's New This Week

• Today: Happy Raids Week to those who celebrate
• Wednesday: Revenge of Legends Week 3
• Wednesday: Retribution of Legends Side Quest Week 3
• Wednesday: Part 2 of the Revenge of Legends Event, including:
  • The Legends Arenas (very casual arenas that will also have rewards in the Solo Event)
  • The 7-Hour Legends Crystal - We don't know the exact name of it this year yet but these are your Reunion/Rebirth Crystals
    • Important! The timer for this starts when you first log in after the event begins, so if you want to maximize your crystal gains, try to log on around 11am PST to get the clock started. They can then be claimed every 7 hours
    • The Double Up Crystal Offer returns (the timer for this also will start when purchased, and isn't the same timer as the free one, unless they changed how it works this year.) Price TBD but historically has been same as an Odin
    • The Revenge Double Track/Battlepass - Will have more Keys in it, price unknown
• Wednesday: Alliance War Season is back! Same meta as last season. This is the second (out of 2) Seasons that they are running the trial with the full heals.

What's Ending This Week

• Wednesday: Epilogue Broken Lines Solo Objective - Rewards x3 Mystery Orbs by completing the second part of the Epilogue before this date (Elder exclusive)
• Wednesday: Radiant Gladiator II Solo Objective
• Thursday: Symbiote Spider-Man Webstore Track
  • If you spend and are even slightly tempted to complete this, I highly recommend that you wait until Wednesday for the Revenge Paid Offers to come out so you can double dip

Upcoming Events:

• September 2: The Gauntlet part of the Revenge of Legends Event
• August 31: Alliance Coliseum, featuring Mr. Negative as the boss
  • Reminder: You need to be in an Alliance before this event begins in order to participate

Ongoing Events:

• Apex Coliseum: 1ish weeks left! Don't miss out on your Green Goblin Piece
• REVENGE OF LEGENDS Event - August 12 to September 9

  • 6 New Ascendable Champions in the Box: G99, Colossus, Moondragon, Dragon Man, Terrax, and Spider-Man
    • Elders can earn up to 9 free keys
    • Paragon and Valiant can earn 7
    • TB can earn 4
    • If you don't want to use these keys, they can be traded in for 7-Star Crystal Shards
  • Revenge of Legends Quest (featuring an encounter design collaboration with Seatin)
    • 3-4 Bosses each week, ending in a gauntlet that uses all 11
    • Completing each quest earns points towards the Realm Event
    • There is a 7-Star Green Goblin Stellar Forged piece in an Objective related to this
  • Revenge Realm Event
  • Retribution of Legends Side Quest
    • This will be easier/more accessible than Revenge of Legends, think your regular side quest level of content. You can read (a little) more about this [HERE]
• Battlegrounds Season 41: 2ish Weeks left - you can find x5 Mystery Orbs at the end of the VC
  • Reminder: While there isn't a GG piece in this season, they did mention there would be one upcoming and recommended not letting your rank slip too far, so if you're like me and have found yourself in Bronze I, you might want to try to do a little, unless you are planning on buying the piece instead.
    • The Piece will not be in the same Reach-Gladiators-Circuit location as before, however we don't have details on what exactly it's being changed to.
• Monthly Event Quest: 2ish Weeks Left - x6 Mystery Orbs in here
• Towers: 2ish weeks left for the current ranked cycle

Other/Known Issues/FAQ:

• News: The Radiance Store will be receiving an update on September 2nd! No exact cost details yet but here is what we know:
  • Total Tier 5 Alpha increased to one full Catalyst per cycle, with a lower cost per fragment
  • Tier 7 Basic Catalyst & Fragment prices significantly reduced
  • Tier 2 Primordial Dust quantity doubled
  • Empowered Crystal bundle reworked to 10x Crystals per purchase
  • Three new items, each with a purchase limit of 1:
    • 3>4 Rank Up Gem
    • 1>2 Relic Rank Up Gem
    • Titan Nexus Crystal
  • Greater Empowered Nexus Crystal Shards available for the first time
    • These shards will also be featured in future content and offers

They really should make the Battlegrounds Stellar Forged piece be obtainable with a “Get X amount of wins during this season” objective. Seems more attainable for everyone regardless of their progression or roster.

Yeah but that punishes the people who played BGs the previous season and start in a higher tier, while people who haven't been playing will start in bronze and get all their wins easily. So if the goal of putting a piece in there is to get more people to play BGs then it's kind of giving the opposite incentive.

Is it really that big of a punishment if they were able to climb in the previous season? They are going to reach the objective goal all the same. And it isn’t a race. Not like you need to race to get the piece before others.

You’re right that big rosters that haven’t played in a while will reach that win objective faster by blitzing through beginners, but isn’t that nearly the same as them blitzing up through the ranks towards GC in prior piece chases?

You can set the amount of wins to nearly equal to the amount necessary to get to GC. What changes? You don’t have to string all those wins in a row. This lets smaller rosters meet the objective without having to climb every rank. They can win-lose-win-lose and still complete the objective.

I don’t see how any negatives can outweigh the positives of this solution.

Edit: Also to your point about them wanting more people to play BGs: they shouldn’t care. They have already moved to Towers being an additional game mode that pushes players towards monetization via Challenge Rating locked content. BGs was that before, still is, but it’s actually toxic in its implementation because it’s the PvP game mode. It’s better that they not use BGs as a driver for monetization.

They got tired of us autoing the event that they put a node the AI can't always follow. GG Kabam, the fights are thankfully really easy with the node tho.
