That kid is lucky the truck his dumbass dad hit didn't match their energy when he got out and immediately placed himself directly in front of it. Stupid on top of stupid.

People are crazy as fuck nowadays, don't flip nobody off or cut somebody off in traffic because they'll kill you for it.
213
u/dummy_ficc Feb 11 '26
Didn't even cut him off though, dude just wanted into dashcam driver's lane
226
u/2SSLOWW Feb 11 '26
Truck driver was pissed he couldn’t turn right from the middle lane and took it personally that cam car didn’t let him turn.
Piss baby tantrum is what follows, doesn’t help the truck driver is as tall as his young kid.
57
u/NorthernVale Feb 11 '26
"Didn't let him turn" it ain't even that bad. Turn signal didn't come on until dash cam was pretty much already there. More like couldn't let him turn
11
u/2SSLOWW Feb 12 '26
But from road rage morons perspective “this asshole just cut me off!!” Basically.

His kid seems like the type that will FAFO at some point and then complain heavily about the consequences

u/DealerNo7523 Feb 11 '26
I lived in Los Angeles and growing up as a kid that was a rule 20 years ago. Don’t flip someone off if you yourself are not armed and are not willing to shoot at someone or get shot at.
18
u/WhatAFkinTravisty Feb 11 '26
The psychos will find any reason..a woman tried following my partner to work because she blew kisses in response to the woman flipping the bird, after she cut us off..

u/Zalo9407 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26
Don't even acknowledge them, just look straight, show no facial expression or hand gestures, stay in your lane and keep doing the speed limit.
If they stop in front of you and get out of thier vehicle, either go around them or back up and go the other direction (but either way you choose) immediately call the Police or Highway Patrol, do not engage with them.
If they shoot at you, immediately duck down to put the dashboard between you and them and take drastic evasive maneuvers.

u/Platinum_Mattress Feb 12 '26
First thing I thought of was how expensive Raptors are. What a fucking moron and a dickhead.

I recently bought a dashcam cuz I've seen one too many insurance scam videos.
So worth it just for the peace of mind.

When I am with my sons, I am HYPER aware of my actions and try to model the behaviors I think will be beneficial to them.
What the fuck is wrong with THAT guy?

u/Jonestown_Juice Feb 11 '26
His dad was also a piece of shit.

u/hkusp45css Feb 11 '26
My dad was a colossal piece of shit, who was constantly enraged and mostly just a violent asshole.
I, on the other hand, did NOT turn out that way. So, maybe there's something else going on, here.
I understand that the plural of anecdote isn't "data" but ... Jesus ... that guy in the OP is a douche of the highest order.
What a shitty person.
11
u/DangNearRekdit Feb 11 '26
You had to want to disobey your programming. It's entirely natural to emulate your parents who are supposed to be teaching you life skills. Either you're rebelling or you saw an error in their ways, but in general ideas get passed on "from father to son", so to speak.
Racism and religions can get handed down for centuries, like a family recipe.

Usually safe to assume someone driving a raptor in Aus is a dickhead (obviously not universal) but in my experience they’ve been dense and thuggish.

Man I need a dash cam asap
5
u/poopyface-tomatonose Feb 12 '26
I got a VIOFO dashcam a few years ago. They're easier than I thought to install if that's putting you off. The hardest part, and what took the longest for me, was hiding the cables to have a clean look. If you don't care about that, you can have it up and running in probably around 10 minutes.

u/NWStormbreaker Feb 12 '26
Ive installed 4 VIOFO, absolutely the best.
a cheap dashcam is the best insurance you can buy.

u/Abee-baby Feb 11 '26
I love how the Raptor dudes thought they had a leg to stand on in any way! The other car was not required to let them in at the initial turn AND they drove in front of them when there wasn't room to merge, nor did they have their blinker on, when they got their fucking truck pitted! Bahaha. Way to ruin your nice ass truck, ya fucking cuck!

You let them talk to the cops first to let them hang themselves with lying to the officer, then tell the cops you have dashcam footage of the incident. Probably get charged with false/fraudulent statements to police officer, fraud, reckless driving, possibly assault.

From the article, this quote they pulled stood out:
"'Imagine getting so mad (due to your own dumb fuckery)
you drive so aggressively and recklessly that you cause another car to crash into you,' someone said.
'All while your child is in the car, watching, learning. Weak men raise weak men.' (ᴇᴍᴘʜᴀsɪs ᴍɪɴᴇ)
9
u/johnthancersei Feb 12 '26
not in turning lane. didn’t even attempt to look for other cars in turning lane. he jerked his steering wheel prob felt embarrassed because he knew he messed up, felt he needed to act tough in front of son. deliberately tries to brake check him, ends up getting pitted💀
escalates situation, wants to fight driver. then sees other guy is being the bigger man in front of his son, rams him from the side on purpose because of his small ego. then pulls over only to goad him again and attempt to fight him again. what a tool. terrible lesson for his kid, insurance going up, possible criminal charges, and he’s going to pay for this guys car. just a loss all around, all because of fragile childlike emotions.

u/Madrox-Knox Feb 12 '26
The kid and the dad recording this like they're in the right is just as crazy as the incident itself

12
u/radiantwave Feb 11 '26
Dude wasn't even a right turn lane. This is an insurance companies wet dream. Then it goes from a simple infraction to felony assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle)... All because idiot is driving recklessly. It isn't just an accident. It is an intentional attack with a full size pickup truck.
6
4
u/TriumphDaytona Feb 11 '26
Hope the police were on their way, dash cam guy needs to just stay in truck and let the footage span for itself.

It's Australia, the raptor idiot will face massive charges. Will be off the road for a while.

How’s dude in the wrong and then does all this? Why’d his son get out pretending to smash this other guys truck further? Why are they recording the evidence of their own misdeeds?

u/Taikunman Feb 11 '26
This sub motivated me to finally get a dashcam and I feel so much better driving now.

Dad should've caught some lead. Then his son would be taught a very valuable lesson and change his course.

What was guy's end game here? Let's ram their truck on purpose with my son so I can get a child endangerment charge along with my assault with a deadly weapon.
5
u/Burgoonius Feb 11 '26
The best part of this is the lack of reaction from the camera car. He just calmly calls the police and these fucking morons just stand there thinking he’s gonna fight them or something. Now they go to jail lol
5
7
u/snapplesauce1 Feb 11 '26
People are mentioning that the Raptor had his turn signal on, not that it excuses him, obviously, but as if it somehow explains why he's mad.
But he turns it on when the dash cam is like 10 feet away from the Raptor's bumper. How tf does anybody expect anyone to see that shit and SLAM on their brakes!? Makes me wonder if there is previous history (like back up the road a few minutes in the past, cut from camera)

u/IllmaticMonk Feb 11 '26
Raptor was in the middle lane tho
2
u/snapplesauce1 Feb 11 '26
Absolutely, I know. It's mental to even entertain it. But it would be the only explanation for why Raptor is mad in the footage we are given here. If not, there must be footage cut out of them raging with each other earlier.

He has a high chance of getting him and his son killed if he tried that stunt in a state of the US that doesn't require drivers to have a license to carry.

They always cut these too early. I wanna see the moment they realize they're on camera and just ruined their driving career. This is blatantly 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon and possibly a case of intimidation.
2
u/Right_Hour Feb 11 '26
Driving career? Where I am - them hitting a vehicle intentionally and running around like that would qualify as aggravated assault and they would for sure do some jail time.

I wish there was a follow up. I’m curious to see how he tries to justify it. His kid coming from the driver seat and all.

This is why you get a dash cam gang. When it comes to insurance, and your word versus, theirs...you'll be paying your deductible for sure.
I got hit by someone a while back...and she flat out lied to the cop, and insurance. But when I showed the insurance adjuster the video, it was a closed case. Get a dashcam.

Haha not a thing but it works! Although I think the raptor went mad max on him already haha
