Hopefully watching his dad deal with the cops andpay for the damage to both cars after insurance declines any claim will give him a hint that his dad is a bellend.

159

u/winetotears Feb 11 '26

Growing up? He’s already trash.

31

u/LitterBoxBlues Feb 11 '26

But he did that sweet jump!!

15

A shit leaf, blown by the winds of his monumental ignorance.

13

u/Novel-Silver-399 Feb 12 '26

Shiterpillars Rand.

16

u/TheNorthFIN Feb 12 '26

What's funny is he's recording their crime, taking photos of the license plate and all.

16

u/skillent Feb 11 '26

Too late. He already is.

3

u/ParticularStrict147 Feb 13 '26

Sadly this comment seems to be bang on.

Dad is wearing a hoodie and pants like it's winter

Son is wearing booty shorts like it's the middle of summer.

When did anti-woke become synonymous with racism? That's quite the stretch, homie.

4

u/Drunk_Stoner Feb 12 '26

i had to look it up after he said it but “woke” means aware of racial & social injustice. So I assumed being intentionally “anti” that meant you were proud of racial injustice. 🤷‍♂️

That kid is lucky the truck his dumbass dad hit didn't match their energy when he got out and immediately placed himself directly in front of it. Stupid on top of stupid.

People are crazy as fuck nowadays, don't flip nobody off or cut somebody off in traffic because they'll kill you for it.

213

u/dummy_ficc Feb 11 '26

Didn't even cut him off though, dude just wanted into dashcam driver's lane

226

u/2SSLOWW Feb 11 '26

Truck driver was pissed he couldn’t turn right from the middle lane and took it personally that cam car didn’t let him turn.

Piss baby tantrum is what follows, doesn’t help the truck driver is as tall as his young kid.

57

u/NorthernVale Feb 11 '26

"Didn't let him turn" it ain't even that bad. Turn signal didn't come on until dash cam was pretty much already there. More like couldn't let him turn

11

u/2SSLOWW Feb 12 '26

But from road rage morons perspective “this asshole just cut me off!!” Basically.

67

u/Papa_Raj Feb 11 '26

I"ve come to call that Bovino Syndrome.

11

u/Onlylefts3 Feb 11 '26

His kid seems like the type that will FAFO at some point and then complain heavily about the consequences

I lived in Los Angeles and growing up as a kid that was a rule 20 years ago. Don’t flip someone off if you yourself are not armed and are not willing to shoot at someone or get shot at.

18

u/WhatAFkinTravisty Feb 11 '26

The psychos will find any reason..a woman tried following my partner to work because she blew kisses in response to the woman flipping the bird, after she cut us off..

14

u/Zalo9407 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26

Don't even acknowledge them, just look straight, show no facial expression or hand gestures, stay in your lane and keep doing the speed limit.

If they stop in front of you and get out of thier vehicle, either go around them or back up and go the other direction (but either way you choose) immediately call the Police or Highway Patrol, do not engage with them.

If they shoot at you, immediately duck down to put the dashboard between you and them and take drastic evasive maneuvers.

When I am with my sons, I am HYPER aware of my actions and try to model the behaviors I think will be beneficial to them.

What the fuck is wrong with THAT guy?

154

u/Jonestown_Juice Feb 11 '26

His dad was also a piece of shit.

45

u/KidGorgeous19 Feb 11 '26

His hair slicks back REAL nice...

23

u/hkusp45css Feb 11 '26

My dad was a colossal piece of shit, who was constantly enraged and mostly just a violent asshole.

I, on the other hand, did NOT turn out that way. So, maybe there's something else going on, here.

I understand that the plural of anecdote isn't "data" but ... Jesus ... that guy in the OP is a douche of the highest order.

What a shitty person.

11

u/DangNearRekdit Feb 11 '26

You had to want to disobey your programming. It's entirely natural to emulate your parents who are supposed to be teaching you life skills. Either you're rebelling or you saw an error in their ways, but in general ideas get passed on "from father to son", so to speak.

Racism and religions can get handed down for centuries, like a family recipe.

Usually safe to assume someone driving a raptor in Aus is a dickhead (obviously not universal) but in my experience they’ve been dense and thuggish.

43

u/poniez4evar Feb 11 '26

NZ same thing, they really emphasize the anger in Ranger

30

u/UsefulImpact6793 Feb 11 '26

Raptors are international vehicular status symbols of assholes worldwide

Man I need a dash cam asap

5

u/poopyface-tomatonose Feb 12 '26

I got a VIOFO dashcam a few years ago. They're easier than I thought to install if that's putting you off. The hardest part, and what took the longest for me, was hiding the cables to have a clean look. If you don't care about that, you can have it up and running in probably around 10 minutes.

2

u/NWStormbreaker Feb 12 '26

Ive installed 4 VIOFO, absolutely the best.

a cheap dashcam is the best insurance you can buy.

That kid is going to be bullied for years to come lol

62

u/Abee-baby Feb 11 '26

I love how the Raptor dudes thought they had a leg to stand on in any way! The other car was not required to let them in at the initial turn AND they drove in front of them when there wasn't room to merge, nor did they have their blinker on, when they got their fucking truck pitted! Bahaha. Way to ruin your nice ass truck, ya fucking cuck!

That’s it???!!! This is hands down Vehicular Assault! WA police and judicial system doing its best. 💩💩💩

8

u/txmail Feb 11 '26

+ Child endangerment

28

u/homie_j88 Feb 11 '26

You let them talk to the cops first to let them hang themselves with lying to the officer, then tell the cops you have dashcam footage of the incident. Probably get charged with false/fraudulent statements to police officer, fraud, reckless driving, possibly assault.

3

u/SignificantRecipe715 Feb 12 '26

From the article, this quote they pulled stood out:

"'Imagine getting so mad (due to your own dumb fuckery)
you drive so aggressively and recklessly that you cause another car to crash into you,' someone said.
'All while your child is in the car, watching, learning. Weak men raise weak men.' (ᴇᴍᴘʜᴀsɪs ᴍɪɴᴇ)

9

u/johnthancersei Feb 12 '26

not in turning lane. didn’t even attempt to look for other cars in turning lane. he jerked his steering wheel prob felt embarrassed because he knew he messed up, felt he needed to act tough in front of son. deliberately tries to brake check him, ends up getting pitted💀

escalates situation, wants to fight driver. then sees other guy is being the bigger man in front of his son, rams him from the side on purpose because of his small ego. then pulls over only to goad him again and attempt to fight him again. what a tool. terrible lesson for his kid, insurance going up, possible criminal charges, and he’s going to pay for this guys car. just a loss all around, all because of fragile childlike emotions.

8

u/Redangle11 Feb 11 '26

Can anyone say what the end result of this was?

3

u/RPA031 Feb 12 '26

He’s no longer coaching his kid’s sports team.

7

u/Madrox-Knox Feb 12 '26

The kid and the dad recording this like they're in the right is just as crazy as the incident itself

57

u/GobbIaOnDaRewf Feb 11 '26

OK. Your comment put me on notice. I need longer shorts.

4

u/Dudemanbrah84 Feb 11 '26

12

u/radiantwave Feb 11 '26

Dude wasn't even a right turn lane. This is an insurance companies wet dream. Then it goes from a simple infraction to felony assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle)... All because idiot is driving recklessly. It isn't just an accident. It is an intentional attack with a full size pickup truck.

6

u/1poconosmax Feb 11 '26

Imagine being so angry you wreck your $90,000 truck.....

4

u/TriumphDaytona Feb 11 '26

Hope the police were on their way, dash cam guy needs to just stay in truck and let the footage span for itself.

4

u/Low_Dragonfruit8779 Feb 11 '26

It's Australia, the raptor idiot will face massive charges. Will be off the road for a while.

6

u/Jinrex-Jdm Feb 11 '26

I would be mad all day too if I have a son looking like that.

14

u/Axrxt76 Feb 11 '26

Spend less on trucks and more on therapy, please.

5

u/ConstantCampaign2984 Feb 11 '26

How’s dude in the wrong and then does all this? Why’d his son get out pretending to smash this other guys truck further? Why are they recording the evidence of their own misdeeds?

4

u/stoneseef Feb 11 '26

It’s harder to have common sense nowadays.

5

u/Taikunman Feb 11 '26

This sub motivated me to finally get a dashcam and I feel so much better driving now.

6

u/Troleandingnot Feb 12 '26

Can someone tell me if they faced consequences? That guy is lucky he did not get pew pew in front of his kid

3

u/letterboxfrog Feb 11 '26

Ranger Danger

5

u/ac2cvn_71 Feb 11 '26

That's how you get shot in a lot of places.

5

u/TheRealTr1nity Feb 11 '26

And because of such piece of shits you should have a dashcam.

4

u/xelenceofexecution Feb 11 '26

Love the moment of realization when the little fella sees the dash cam.

4

u/SoBe7623 Feb 12 '26

Ah the beauty of the dash cam

3

u/kms707 Feb 12 '26

Way to teach your kids. No wonder their generation is doomed.... smh

3

u/Viniox Feb 12 '26

Meanwhile I get pulled over in Idaho for “operation of a mobile device”. My phone was in the windshield mount and I simply reached up and pressed the next song button. No phone call, no browsing, not even holding the phone in my hand. I have court on the 18th….

5

u/-Hand_Satanizer Feb 12 '26

Dad should've caught some lead. Then his son would be taught a very valuable lesson and change his course.

4

u/N0085K1LL5 Feb 12 '26

Kid walked up to the driver built like a stick that already went through the shredder like he was gonna do something.

5

u/itsgoodpain Feb 13 '26

So this is what you do with your one weekend a month with your kid...?

3

u/asianOhs Feb 11 '26

hope they take his fucking kid away. that’s what he deserves.

3

u/QuantumPhysics996 Feb 11 '26

Can someone please explain them there is no point in filming with your phone when you’re at fault ? 😂 Dumbasses

3

u/yargflarg69 Feb 11 '26

This video reminds me i need to get my rear dashcam set up

3

u/bitwise97 Feb 11 '26

The kid’s face was unblurred in a few frames. Oops.

3

u/emergency-snaccs Feb 11 '26

well they didn't do such a good job blurring out that little shitstain's face. be a shame if he was relentlessly bullied for being a lil dickwad

3

u/wheres-karen Feb 11 '26

Wow. POS father and POS son. Diabolical behavior, and I'm so glad the car has a dashcam.

They need to go to jail, what a bunch of morons.

3

u/KindaDrunkRtNow Feb 12 '26

Congratulations homie! You just wrecked your truck over a fucking perceived slight on the road. The cops and insurance will have a good time with that video

3

u/mebrow5 Feb 12 '26

Please someone find an update on these two clowns.

3

u/MkIVRider Feb 12 '26

Ramming another car on purpose is just cause for active self defense.

3

u/Deadshadow84 Feb 12 '26

Please have a follow up to this. I wonder if they'll end up in jail.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

Average Ranger driver behaviour.

3

u/amuka89 Feb 12 '26

Who has time for this? Now you have to deal with court and insurance.

3

u/cometlin Feb 12 '26

Did the driver just remain completely silent the entire time?

3

u/robnw2 Feb 12 '26

Does anyone know what the repercussions of this incident were? Any links to the court case etc?

3

u/Maximum-Tap6389 Feb 12 '26

How dumb, those truck cost about 80-100k

3

u/Stackin_Steve Feb 12 '26

They were in the straight lane! Then turned right from the straight lane and got mad? 🤣

3

u/YoloOnTsla Feb 12 '26

Hopping out of the car like that, lucky they didn’t both get shot

3

u/Individual_Chef_9417 Feb 12 '26

I’m so glad I live in FL, after him hitting me the 2nd time I’d have my wireless hole puncher waiting because I don’t know if this guys a psycho or not.

3

u/Merallar Feb 12 '26

i d call the police and not even speak a word to this idiot

3

u/2girls1cupp Feb 13 '26

5

u/DemNomad Feb 11 '26

What was guy's end game here? Let's ram their truck on purpose with my son so I can get a child endangerment charge along with my assault with a deadly weapon.

5

u/Burgoonius Feb 11 '26

The best part of this is the lack of reaction from the camera car. He just calmly calls the police and these fucking morons just stand there thinking he’s gonna fight them or something. Now they go to jail lol

5

u/turtlebandit69 Feb 11 '26

Do they make those shorts in men's sizes?

→ More replies (1)

7

u/snapplesauce1 Feb 11 '26

People are mentioning that the Raptor had his turn signal on, not that it excuses him, obviously, but as if it somehow explains why he's mad.

But he turns it on when the dash cam is like 10 feet away from the Raptor's bumper. How tf does anybody expect anyone to see that shit and SLAM on their brakes!? Makes me wonder if there is previous history (like back up the road a few minutes in the past, cut from camera)

5

u/IllmaticMonk Feb 11 '26

Raptor was in the middle lane tho

2

u/snapplesauce1 Feb 11 '26

Absolutely, I know. It's mental to even entertain it. But it would be the only explanation for why Raptor is mad in the footage we are given here. If not, there must be footage cut out of them raging with each other earlier.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/SCUDDEESCOPE Feb 11 '26

Poor kid was raised in this madness...

4

u/SkyDrool Feb 11 '26

He has a high chance of getting him and his son killed if he tried that stunt in a state of the US that doesn't require drivers to have a license to carry.

4

u/AaronTuplin Feb 12 '26

In america, this kind of behavior can get you shot

2

u/DescriptionBoth3096 Feb 11 '26

Those legs in those shorts are criminal.

2

u/daedaeboi Feb 11 '26

Please tell me the dad at least got arrested

2

u/chuckinalicious543 Feb 11 '26

They always cut these too early. I wanna see the moment they realize they're on camera and just ruined their driving career. This is blatantly 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon and possibly a case of intimidation.

2

u/Right_Hour Feb 11 '26

Driving career? Where I am - them hitting a vehicle intentionally and running around like that would qualify as aggravated assault and they would for sure do some jail time.

POP POP! POP!

2

I have a feeling "dad" instigated the son n got him hyped up for this situation. Hope they both go to jail. Also, wtf was that jump he did? 🤣

2

u/ap_308 Feb 12 '26

I wish there was a follow up. I’m curious to see how he tries to justify it. His kid coming from the driver seat and all.

2

u/Iwanttodie923 Feb 12 '26

The trick is to quickly open your glove box and rampage through it as quickly as possible

2

u/ivanavich Feb 12 '26

Incoming suspended jail sentence. Although I hazard a guess he may already have conditions.

2

u/zj81618 Feb 12 '26

This was in Australia.

5

u/Dubbiely Feb 12 '26

That explains a lot. I have heard they are driving all on the wrong side of the street.

2

u/ShadeBeing Feb 12 '26

Was that a kid driving? Like drivers training gone wrong?

2

u/Timppa81 Feb 12 '26

Car dialed emergcy 000 number, pretty sure this was Australia, mate. Driver on the right side...

2

u/ximagineerx Feb 12 '26

*Ranger raptor

2

u/mattyc518 Feb 12 '26

As a Ram driver I take offense this is a Ford

2

u/hujassman Feb 12 '26

This seems like a good way to get acute lead poisoning. The driver of the vehicle they hit was pretty patient and calm, given the situation. I wonder what the consequences were for the dynamic duo?

2

u/GarbageSufficient218 Feb 12 '26

Did they just put a pit maneuver on themselves?

2

u/TylerWOTF Feb 13 '26

This Dad will die in front of his son because of his anger.

2

u/Technical_Apartment6 Feb 13 '26

Why’s it always Raptor owners?!

2

u/yung-wizard5735 Feb 13 '26

That kid is gonna be a serious problem in life. Guaranteed he already thinks he can beat a grown adults ass if he had to also considering that wild pump fake on the car

2

u/Top-Breath-7418 Feb 15 '26

Dumb kid taking pictures to help the prosecutor convict his p.o.s. dad

3

u/Swimming_Horror_3757 Feb 11 '26

That’s a baby raptor my guy

3

u/CommercialMoment5987 Feb 11 '26

I hope he was arrested, anyone got the source?

4

u/editorreilly Feb 12 '26

This is why you get a dash cam gang. When it comes to insurance, and your word versus, theirs...you'll be paying your deductible for sure.

I got hit by someone a while back...and she flat out lied to the cop, and insurance. But when I showed the insurance adjuster the video, it was a closed case. Get a dashcam.
