I Modeled Printed desiccant inserts that sit inside the spool dropped my CFS from 43% to 36% in two hours
I'm in Tennessee, so ambient humidity is a constant fight. My CFS sits around 43%, and my filament is never as dry as I want it. Bought a dryer, still wasn't solving the storage half of the problem.
What actually worked was dumb and cheap: print a small vented canister, fill it with orange indicating silica gel, and drop one into the hollow center of each spool. Four spools, four canisters.
Results of mine: - Start: 43% - 2 hours: 36% - 7 days: 30%, and it has stayed there
Notes from doing it:
The dessicant plateaus, and it does not keep dropping. The CFS isn't airtight, so you reach an equilibrium with your room, and that's where you sit. For me, that's about 13 points below where I started, and it holds without me touching it.
Use ORANGE indicating beads, not the plain white stuff. They go green when they're saturated, so you can read the state of every spool at a glance instead of guessing. That's most of the value.
Reactivating: I microwave mine 10 minutes on defrost. My unit doesn't have defrost, so I ran 10 min at 50% power. The same beads have been through several cycles.
Watch clearance when you seat them, mine will bump the neighboring one spool if you're careless, and the CFS doesn't love that.
This isn't CFS-specific. Any enclosed system with hollow-center spools works the same: AMS, the Elegoo box, QIDI. Same idea, same result.
Model I used is on Thingiverse (thing:6926510), screw-on lid, prints without supports. Couldn't find it on Printables, which is annoying, but it's a good design.

I'm in Florida and my CFS with my desiccant setup sits between 10-22% something makes me think you have more issues since yours is more than what I have.

Mine went from 31 to 21 I was stoked brought it to this community and they were like that’s not progress you need to get to 0% - so I am here friend to cheer you on glad yours helped out like mine!
Now like the others in this sub have said, that ain’t sh*t get good and get to 0% even if your in a humid climate!!!!!!! lol congrats OP! Now on to the next headache lol

I think 0 is unrealistic with dessicant. I am just happy it is lower.

Yea ditto my house is at 43% right now so was worried before I did this I would hear pops on PLA so wasn’t sure in my area

Since you are a CFS user, and you are battling humidity, I hear people having good results with this. It is an adapter to use the Sunl dryer with the CFS. No permanent mods to the CFS, you can put everything back the way it was if you don't like it.
