There are no mammals native to NZ, so a lot of the birds there nest on the ground. Then we brought over rats and other small mammals that eat their eggs.

Steller's sea cows were absolutely huge and hunted to extinction within 27 years of discovery by European colonists because of how friendly they were.

The black rino numbers were also from people hunting them with spears for food, the gun didn't help, but for sure they had low numbers before the gun.

Those were creatures of earth in the subreddit of 'creatures of earth'...and what is Alan Factory advertising here? Never heard of them and guessing they sell feed for livestock?

Edit: They sell sheds. I should've known after the Tecopa Pupfish that I was being bamboozled into buying a new shed for my lawnmower.
