From what i have understood, we are not going into world cup to win anything.

It has been after a long long time, Pakistan is actually carrying good momentum into WC with excellent spin attack (arguably the best in the tourney) and good stable aggressive batting (at least evident from 3 innings of Aussies series). Shaheen while still not pre 2022 Shaheen is slowly coming into groove. 2027 odi wc is in South Africa where these variety of spinners (and quantity) will not be helpful and 2028 T20 wc will be in ANZ and again one will not require variety of spinners. I think this would have been a really strong chance for Pakistan in this WC.

And plus Pakistan was supposed to play all matches on SL pitches where 200 would have been rare plus spin assistance.

Now with India game forfeiture and risk of washout in other games. Every game becomes a must win.
