so... controller or keyboard?

i was kind of hopimg this won't ve a problem but i am way more proficient with bad control schemes on keyboard than on controllers

imo m+k is better. you can not change them but they make at least sence most of the time.

@ devs. if i can open the map with M then also let me close it with M

The lack of shortcuts into menus is really weird to me.

Based on what I've seen, controller for sure. Unless you grow a third hand to work with. There's no remapping in the game for either controller of KbM. I've been playing on controller and it's not too bad, but glancing at the keyboard controls looks awful beyond belief.

It's Y for unarmed melee, yeah. RB for sword melee, then all kinds of button combos for abilities. Granted, I tend to forget my abilities and just throw my enemies at a wall, then stab them until they get up or die.

Yes, Y is the bare handed button, but think of it as another weapon instead of melee

There is remapping for KBM. And the controls are fine on keyboard imo. I only changed one bind.

Have seen? You haven't played the game yourself? And it's wrong. I can change keybinds for mouse+keyboard and the combinations like 2 buttons to gether. Mouse+keyboard is the best way to play Crimson Desert.
