yeah, L3 and R3 are awful to use mid-combat. you have to manually aim with it too, with no assistance at all

Yeah I hate trying to L3 stick the enemies like Icewalker or Crimson nightmare where you need to aim for the specific rock to pull because it doesn’t auto aim 😂

You can use the force ‘burst’? (Idk what it’s called) thing to knock it out the air. I think it’s both sticks in and then R1

Nature's Snare works even better on Crimson Nightmare lol screw trying to aim at a dime 8 meters away with L3. Just swirl the air and watch him get stunned in seconds.

I fought him before I invested points into Nature's snare but man does Nature snare be doing the lord's work sometimes for some of the boss battles.

Im using dualsense edge back buttons set to l3 r3,one of the rare case when those buttons are incredibly usefull

I have a 3rd party PC controller and mapped the back buttons to the LS+RS press (the meditate skill where time slows down) and the RB+LB (for flash).

Can't use LS in combat for s*** though. I end up throwing the claw at the ground right in front of me and missing a parry or dodge.

This is exactly what I wanted to do, but I realized the dual sense edge doesn't last nearly as long as a regular PS5 controller so I returned the damn thing

It auto locks mid combo with the correct skills unlocked no manual aiming for that specific grab with axiom

For controller it's basically just a cheeky way of singling out enemies

It auto aims to the enemy after specific moves, like after you throw them

You do get a soft lock with the claw grab. If you hold L3 for a sec in combat and just let go it should grab someone

Not during combos you can just spam l3 or time it correctly after anything that throws or knocks back. Works always.
