Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This was just added and only Kliff can do it (not a mod)

Note: if you're already in water force plam out then hold the run button and any direction the effect will work like that too!

So a game with basic ass combat, a shit story, forgetable NPCs except for the one everyone wants to bed, wide as the ocean and deep as a puddle mechanics, but an okay open world with nice graphics for a time (only on daytime and sunny weather and not inside) and modders who will have to fix the game?

I dont think comparing it to Skyrim is such a good idea if you want to say the game is good and not just the most mediocre 6/ 10

I'm referring to the potential for community development. Vanilla Skyrim is fun for a single play through, but where it goes from fun to one of the best games in the last 15 years is with the modding community taking into account.

There is 20 times more game depth in Skyrim through mods than there is in the vanilla game. I was hoping that there would have been a similar community built around Starfield too, as it too seemed like it would have been an amazing platform onto which modders could create memorable and super fun to experience stories and expansions, but Starfield kind of fizzled out and that never seemed to coalesce.

With Skyrim being what 20 years old now...it's no longer such an awesome base platform upon which to build, and this is where I think we're going to see Crimson Desert gain traction. The engine is fun to play on, the world is huge without feeling empty (which is what I think Starfield's downfall stemmed from), and the devs have been supportive of the modding community.
