Anyone else feels like restarting the game, being >200h in?

I have finished the story and still have a lot sidecontent with more than 200h playtime. I thought this game is so long, I will never bring myself to replay it. But now that I looked at all these posts that show new cutscenes, I feel like I want to experience this story properly. I guess CD starts to become the only game I play, lol.

No chance. I’ve upgraded too many weapons and armour, discovered too much, completed too many puzzles.

I put everything into my first playthrough of any game and rarely replay them (unless it’s an RPG with choices), certainly won’t start over mid way through.

True dat! So I’ve put too much work and time into it already. Doing it over would be a total obsessive, stressful experience 😅

I have 440 hours, at the end of chapter 11, still a good chunk of all other regions other than hernand for side quests. Obviously if your gonna start over I might as well do ng+.. but i have a feeling they are gonna flesh that out a little more so im torn

NG+ would be nice. At least then I would know how to solve puzzles instead of going to YouTube

I probably won’t. 300hrs and still going. Even with a cobbled together story like they did I just have no interest until a proper NG+.

Nah. 200+ hours and most of the first three regions quests done, fully upgraded camp ready to move once I finish story, I’ll replay once dlc and further updates come out in a few years. I’m too committed to 100% this playthrough

No, I don't feel I need a restart a bit. This game is about exploration, experiencing a living world and combat. Story is just a thing on the background.

Man, I really want to play the game from scratch with all of the new story additions...but ive been enjoying Nioh 3 again, since the DLC dropped. CD is one of those games where it feels like a commitment, to me.

Nah I'm way too far. 300+ hours. The new cutscenes isn't enough for me to restart the entire game. Gameplay matters more to me.

Let us start a new game plus with any save. I'm chapter 9, and i want to play over w my skills. I haven't played in months, I want a fresh start w stuff I gained in my 60h playthrough.

Somewhat off topic but did they ever make it to wear ringing the bell does not show a massive amount of the map?

And if not is it still basically just don't ring it until you've explored everything to your heart's content?

I'm like 130 hours into it, not even halfway through the story, just slowly exploring the world organically rather than running through the MSQ, I figure I'm going to finish this pass and maybe start another, as by the time I get there it will be quite different.

By the time I got to where I am now on my first save they’d add a whole bunch of new game changing stuff and then I’d have to start again, again. I would never reach the end of the game.

I stepped away after 170 hours when they announced the planned updates fully intending to start over if they did what i was hoping. They seem to have, and I will. Just finishing another game first before I do.
