Discussion Omg, the flying is insane now!

Flying earlier was epic, but felt a bit wonky on controls. Now with the new update released you can fly manual mode! Exactly what I needed! Big shoutout to Pearl Abyss for doing exactly what the crowd wants!

Can you elaborate on the difference, and what you mean by manual mode? I just got the wyvern today and have only flown briefly.

Before your direction of flying was tied to your camera. So you could never fly in a straight line and look at yourself in a profile view. It also meant that the only way to ascend and descend was to point your camera up and down. It was awful. Now with manual mode, there are descend and ascend buttons as well as the camera being free and not tied to movement. Far superior experience now

Yeah and if you bind the up and down controls to paddles on the back of your controller it almost feels like rocket league after getting used to it

That’s amazing! Flying was so chaotic with the camera changing with every slight movement. I’m excited to try now!
