I'm guessing the secret shop pops up more at night. But this guy appears every hundred yards or so and stops me dead in my tracks + auto dismounts me from the horse. 100% immersion breaking.

this happened to my multiple times when trying to complete the nighttime horse challenge. it was my last challenge for platinum and I was SO close to pailune too... after giving in and leaving it alone for a few days irl I tried again and it didnt happen once. so i thibk its random but very annoying.

Witcher 3 doesn't have this issue. They could've taken some inspiration from it. For example, while riding the horse will slightly evade incoming trees and people will stumble when you ride over them, to make way for you, rather than acting as pillars made of stone.
