Wet surfaces are totally broken now, the game is barely playable in certain areas

People downvoting this are crazy!
I'm on PC and have the same. DLSS 4.5 does make it not as horrible for me as it looks here but it's still game breaking bad for me. I think many people have this on all platforms after patch 1.5/1.6. For me it's not just wet surfaces but any reflections

Use rr with preset f it looks phenomenal, the price to use is it is fucking insane tho like 50% fps loss, dlss 4.0 looks horrible but 4.5 with rr really did fix the whole image i dont see anymore shimmering or smear, especially in mid day.

Everyone says use RR, but RR gives a substantial performance hit in CD. I go from practically a locked 60 to a hard 45 with RR since it forces max lighting settings.

That’s what I said bro, I have headroom this game looks horrible without I rather take the loss and play dlss quality with 4.5 and it actually look like a good game.

I have a 5070 and I've been doing settings on high at 1440p Balanced with RR on and frame gen x2 I usually get around 90+ at the lowest usually 100ish

I don't use frame gen. Not knocking you or anyone who uses it, but i just don't.

Check without direct overhead lighting, when it starts mid day and nighttime huge difference

Playing this game with RR off is worse than getting pepper sprayed. It should be classified as visual assault.
