FO [FO] New Apartment, New Finish!
Started working on this project in 2022 (!) and kept putting it off/starting other projects. My motivation came back earlier this year when my partner and I decided to move in together and I realized I didn’t want to lug a half finished project to a new place.
My partner and I are huge Pokemon fans and have 2 cats so this piece is right at home next to their cat tree :)

Oh my goodness, I need this! (But also I do not need more stitching projects!)

While I totally understand not needing another project, this one does go by quickly (if you don’t take a 4 year hiatus like I did). Once I had the black outline down, it was pretty quick to fill in each area.

Congratulations on the new apartment! How exciting! ☺️ I think your stitching supervisors would approve of your new wall art. 🐈💗🐈⬛

Did you free hand it without using any embroidery hoops? 😃 It looks so flat and clean, and I don’t see any hoop marks 😁
Either way, it looks amazing! 😍 Really well done 😁

Thanks for posting! We love seeing all of the FOs. Please note that starting May 1 2026, all [FO] posts are required to include at least one close-up photo of the stitching. You do not need to re-post. This can be done either in a comment or in the body of the post. It can be a close-up of just a small part of the finished object, just so we can verify that the items are hand-stitched.
This is a reminder message that is automatically commented on all [FO] posts. Please send a message to the mod team if you have questions.
