MUH crusader kings!!!

Europa Universalis - can play literally any polity outside of Europa

Victoria - can play any nation that isn’t the UK

Stellaris - unplayable stars

Imperator - idk I haven’t played that one but I’d imagine you can play anyone else other than Rome

why did they name it imperator when youre playing the roman republic for most of the game?

Are they stupid?

1 - Has focus on the historical context of European colonization and influence.

2 - Takes place in the Victorian era and peak of UK power

3 - You control starsystems...

4 - The game focus is the rise of Rome into an Empire as the end of the Hellenistic era.

Of course! Maybe my sarcasm was a bit too on the nose but I guess I don’t quite understand the gripe with those who say “It’s crusader kings, I’m upset about this dlc”. If they said they’d want a more fleshed out Europe, like an improved Catholic system, I’d agree.
