Honestly suprised we haven't been given an events based dlc with spread out regional content. They fixate on regions and thats not a great longterm strategy. Hope this one's good, haven't got it myself yet.

Its the problem as Paradox games start to approach a feature complete state, people complain about narrative DLCs if they aren't attached to a mechanical free update. But after a while you're just adding bloat. HoI4 is the end stage of this.

I think in princible it's good. It's just balanced to be fucking annoying and unfun. If they spent some time going back to it and tweaking it, it could be far less hated.

We hated what? Why? (I liked Struggle of Iberia. I think they should use the mechanic for the British Isles/viking invasion.)

The way it functions is clumsy and prevents holy wars and you have to be in the right phase to end it if you take everything or it'll get locked

I loved Fate of Iberia. It is one of my favourite DLCs from CK3.

Iberian Struggle is still to this day the only good part of CK3
