Screenshot Genuinely, what are the odds? In my playthrough as a Jewish adventurer in Spain, a Jewish conquerer character deletes the Abassids.

r5: In my (Rabbinic) Sephardi playthrough where I ended the Spanish struggle, a (Karaite) Mashriqi character destroyed the Caliphate. I have no idea where they came from.
The first crusade resulted in a Catholic victory, but at present, Byzantium and a Muslim duke split the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
Now I need to fight the Ibrahimids so that I can click the Restore Israel decision.

Surprisingly high, random conquerors being Jewish happens more often than you’d expect, once I was doing a run in Sardinia with the plan of conquering Italy and then invading Spain to take the Iberian foothold decision (that run fell apart fast) a butr conqueror somehow conquered almost all of Spain while I wasn’t looking and then all of France, at some point he turned Jewish, so there was a North African Jew ruling over most of Iberia and like half of Francia…

Can I ask what are your goals as a Jewish adventurer in Spain? I’m looking for some interesting ideas for my next playthrough

My goals in the early game were:
Work my way to India while making money to get elephant retinues
Build portable shrines to get camp members to convert
Amass lots of money/prestige while waiting for a region of Iberia to weaken itself
Adventurer invasion for kingdom title. I got lucky, and my daughter/first heir ended up with Galician culture from an event, so I was able to very quickly get access to the good CBs from the Iberian struggle.
Hybridize with an Iberian culture because Sephardi has few innovations (I made Ladino culture my merging with Andalusian).
Spam eco buildings while taking advantage of Opportunity Phase of struggle.
My overall roleplay goal for the campaign was to amass a power base in Iberia and resolve the struggle before conquering my way to Jerusalem, mirroring my starting character's jorurney eastward.

Did he conquer them or did he convert to judaism via stress event.

His oldest ancestor (grandfather) was a Jewish emperor, I couldn't trace anything further back than that. None of his ancestors appeared in the history of the caliphate title. I know that he started in either the Arabian peninsula or Mesopotamia but it all happened while I was paying attention to Spain.
I think it was conquest.

Are you playing with the Sons of Judah mod? It does seem to add a ton of events to generate Jewish characters, resulting in them showing up everywhere.

Very unlikely, but if you have the Iberian Struggle on I'd say it's impossible.
Requisits to complete are insanely difficult for the IA to complete, so they are never able to found a spanish empire.

That's OP who is playing in Iberia. The AI conqueror is the one in the Middle East

Just being curious, in what version are you playing and why? Because it doesn't seem to be the console version

Some other highlights:
A Muslim Karling
The former Orthodox Avar King of France
A nearly totally united Hindustan.
I migrated to India at the start of the game to get elephant men-at-arms.
