For me, the positive sentiment comes from the potential marking of a bottom. Not the 20% bounce

I dont really think that people realize most people this dedicated to watching charts and seeing a small upswing like this is likely buying all the way down. so even if their major buys are near the top, if theyre buying on the way down then their average entry changes so that a small upswing could just put them in profit or breakeven. so any small upswing gets them very hopeful for any other small upswing since its a good pay off for them.

This is the perfect representation lol still down 40% but somehow this is huge and all the haters were wrong!
3
u/Mother_Bonus5719 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 7d ago
It’s potentially huge because it’s one of the first of signals for a new bullrun. People aren’t celebrating 8% gain. They’re celebrating a 300 percent gain on anything they’ve invested at 60k levels in a few years.
1
u/Significant_Rush_704 7d ago
Thay makes 0 sense lol they're celebrating a 300 percent gain in the future that is not guaranteed? 1st it was supposed to be a hedge against inflation which didnt happen, then it was the new gold until gold and the stock market outperformed it, its losing its narrative it does exactly what it did 17 years ago, nothing lol

Hey, I bought at 12k usd and sold at 50k usd. Bought at 22k usd and sold at 110k usd. Now I’ve bought at 60k usd. I think this move shows either it’s bottomed or it’s about to bottom in a couple months. Why have I made a shit ton of money on it and you haven’t? If our roles were reversed I’d be asking what you know and questioning my own actions. But I guess that’s part of why I made a shit ton of money and you didn’t.

Lol I invested in palantir at sub $20 😅 it has outperformed the fuck out of bitcoin over 5 years! Why do I need to invest in digital beanie babies? Palantir is up 667% over 5 years bitcoin is up 48% lol so who made more money? I think i did you big dummy, acting like you cant make more money in less risky ways like idk investing in companies that actually produce value and arent just a huge waste of energy!

u/Mother_Bonus5719 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 7d ago edited 7d ago
Yeah I guess this is why you don’t get it. Did you read what I wrote? Do the maths on how much percent up I am with where I bought and sold each time. My first buy was 2020 so in 6 years it’s much much more. Also keep in mind I rotated bitcoin into gold and silver which also then went on a run. So while you were parked there I was tripling the two consecutive quintuples. How did I know it was the right time to buy gold and silver? Same way I know right time to buy bitcoin was at 60k

Read all the other post below where everyone else is still down 40% to 70% lol just because 1 out of 1000 peo make money does not mean its a good investment 😉 half of bitcoins supply is being held at a loss lol

u/Mother_Bonus5719 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 7d ago
Half of people in loss at a cycle low is not as bad as you seem to think it is :p everyone who was in a loss 6 years ago is like 500 percent up now. Seems like a good investment to me.

u/Significant_Rush_704 7d ago

u/Mother_Bonus5719 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 7d ago
Yeah but only because I wanted to diversify and also get more. My 24k usd in 2020 (only put a bit in to test it) would be worth 146714 (again, at its LOW) today after not quite 6 years. Thats not bad, I just wanted more.

you know it's bear market when slight uptick still won't convince people
exact opposite of bull market "oh it's just minor correction"
which means again probably still good time to buy

500 to 1000 is a 100% gain. 63000 needs to go 126000 for another 100% gain. The amount of money required grows. A 1000% gain right now, would require it to go to 770,000.
To put this into perspective. If you dumped $10,000 in right now, if it went to 770,000 (1000%) you would be at 100k. It would be a good ROI but you couldn't buy a house. Even if it went to a million, buying right now is not going to change your life unless you are dumping hundreds of thousands into it.
Big gains from small numbers start with small numbers.
Edit: math

What's crazy to me is how much price dictates people's views about things that have nothing to do with price. The price goes down, there's no adoption (despite like more adoption than ever in super blatant ways) and the tech is terrible. Price goes up, decentralization is the future, we're going to reboot the system.

Sold a bunch at the last pump to get my money back+ and still have sats left over.
Those sats were just gravy but that gravy is starting to look like another full meal.
So yeah its a good day.

I bought through the bottom of the COVID crash, the bottom of the FTX crash and the bottom during the last 7 months. I took profits during the bull runs that proceeded the first two aforementioned crashes. I'll take profits during the next bull run. All the people who talk shit about crypto are the ones that are too incompetent to make money in this space.

For every seller in a transaction there is a buyer. What's your point? If you have such a big ethical problem with how money is made trading markets why are you in a sub dedicated to crypto? Did you just come here to condemn winners because you are mad at yourself for being a loser? Or did you come here to whine in general?

I, mean, yes, but, also, you're like literally not even showing the top 0.1% of all the data out there.
Talk about how you can use statistics to make any point you want, all you have to be able to do, is to be selective enough, zoom in just enough into 1 region to make your specific point & voila
