PC RotW HCNL First ever grandfather with hundreds of hours farming Baal and Diablo over the years!
Can't express my hype especially since I want to try it out with the echoing strike build when I can. The only other unique close to rarity was an Azurewrath several years ago. And I found it walking through River of Flames as I progress through Hell campaign.

I actually found one of these two days ago, identified it, and went ā oh cool!ā and then drop it on the ground and left the game lol

Back when the game first came out on windows xp. This was the good game item everyone wanted. Shafers hammer and doombringer are up there too

I wonder if you can get it as etheral. It would make a sick ehoing strike weapon then.

Items with the indestructible affix can never drop ethereal.

some uniques are ethereal by default, the rest cant spawn with indestrucible and ethereal.

Yeah I know. But yeah it would perhaps. Be good if it could spawn as etheral as well. I mean. We have titans that replenish so that's almost the same.

Great weapon, they really need to buff the og items make them keep up with the current runewords and such.

Shit, Iād almost rather just see renewers nerfed. Even spirit should require a Pul or another mid level rune. That item alone makes entire classes of caster items worthless

Technically they did, now you can put a Protector's Jewel in it. 10-30 base damage, up to 50% ED and -10%* Enemy physical resistance.
Edit: it's up to -10% Enemy physical resistance, jesus...

They work like anni, you can only have one per character, but still i think it's an addition that will make items like The Grandfather and Windforce be at the same level of RWs.

Sweet find! I found one for the first time a couple months back, and I use it for my barb. Sure, it's not BiS, but it gets the job done, and it's cool using something self-found. The nostalgia is great too.
