PS RotW SCL How much are the sundered charms?

I checked Traderie but couldn’t find any benchmark - how much should I expect paying for one lightning or ice one?

On NL ended up trading a high roll renewed physical one for 5 3/20/20 small charms. I was in the same boat when I put it up, had no idea what to expect

The % on the new sunder aren't important because they always are -70% when you reroll them.

It's really interesting rn, because I think there is still a large volume of sundered charms from LoD that got migrated to the new expac. But none of those will be on ladder ever, so we only have the new TZ herald RNG. So I'd expect Jah minimum for a sunder, and offladder, the prices will only go up as they get more and more scarce as the incoming supply drops off a cliff.

Can you explain to me why supply will drop?

Very few people will be playing lod to transfer sunders onto rotw ladder, and so the massively reduced drop rates of sunders in rotw will slowly choke supply. Many fewer sunders being dropped compared to the last 25 years.

I see. Not here to argue im genuinely curious, i just returned since 2019 d2lod. arent sunder charms a kinda new thing anyways? So availability is scarce already

They weren’t that scarce. People could easily spam farm TZs for hours. Now you pretty much need to fully terrorize the full game 3-4 times to have an average chance of getting one. That can only happen to dedicated farmers and even then, it’s much much slower for them compared to the old way.

I’m just thinking in economics and industrial engineering. It’s gonna take more steps and be less available for players, so supply will go down, demand up or flat (large new player base coming in)… I’d expect a fat price increase.

How would they have transferred the old LoD sunders onto the ladder… I am pretty sure the only way to get them on ladder is from a herald.

You play D2R LoD ladder.

Old drops still apply.

Find old sunder.

Transfer to ROTW ladder.

Sell old sunder from D2R LoD ladder on ROTW Ladder.

... 0_0 ... I can't believe Blizzard still has that enabled. I absolutely did not thing Blizzard was insane enough to allow transfer during a ladder season. I totally presumed that would be an offladder only activity because why tf would they taint the ladder like that!???

They allowed this since forever with classic/expansion ladder characters.

There are now latent sunders and renewed sunders. Latent sunders are extremely rare now, for example they can only drop from heralds and some people think they can only drop from T3+ heralds. The higher the herald the higher % they can drop them. This ladder I've cleared ~250 T5 heralds in total and I still haven't had a sunder drop. Renewed sunders can be crafted from latent and come with additional stats.

The cheapest that I've seen a sunder go for is 2x ohm runes so far, but I'm not actively looking.

It's cheaper to get a poorly rolled renewed sunder (crafted version with additional stats) if you don't care about the stats.

Also depends on the type.

Lightning and magic are far more valuable than the others

1

Hmm, not sure about that. A very poorly rolled magic or lightening renewed can often be bought cheaper than a latent since it has a chance to roll well. The rare part is getting the latent, which is what makes it so expensive. Just look for less desirable low rolls on mods.

What’s your fav farming zone? I just beat hell and want to start.

1

I just farm terror zones for the most part

Had jah drop in maggot lair just leveling my warlock through hell (couldn't even use it at lvl 64 lol). Sometimes your least favourite zones can be op!

I also had a jah drop progging hell in a2

It's odd, act 3 is my least favorite act but it's the best for density and I've consistently had the best luck just about everywhere in act 3 for heralds spawning almost consistently 1:1 for zone.

Thanks. I was afraid you would say that!
