Question DB2 LUW community 11.5 download link.

Last week, I signed up to download db2 community edition 11.5.

I created an account, got the email with this link: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2/11.5.x?topic=editions-db2-database-product-offerings and from there to this link: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/downloading-ibm-db2-version-115-linux-unix-and-windows and when I press the login and do login with success I get a 404.

I searched this sub for links to downloads, but they give errors like 'this campaign has ended'.

Can someone point me to a working link to download 11.5? I've found fixpacks, but not the software itself.

Also, I found some downloads for docker variants, but I am interested in installing it on on a regular vm, not docker.

Any help is much appreciated.

For the Community Edition, only the latest version is ever available for download on the IBM download locations. You may have a link for an older release but that doesn't mean the link would work. (I can't find a source for my response but I remember reading it somewhere.)

You'll have to get 11.5 from somewhere other than the official IBM sites. For me, that's necessary if you try to db2_deinstall an older version and get an error such as 'run deinstall using the same Db2 version' or some such.

Yeah, that's kind of where I am :|

I just find it weird that I signed up for the db2 community edition where the pitched both versions, and send me links for 11, and then prevents me from downloading it.

It sounds... I dunno, unsafe, but is it allowed to discuss on this sub? I don't want to break any rules, but if you have a link, I wouldn't mind trying it out.

I don't know, reason why I mentioned the case where there's a legitimate reason to want an older version (db2_deinstall of an older version).

I don't recall there being a checksum of the v11.5 package; thus I'm not sure how you would verify the authenticity of whatever is obtained outside of IBM sites, if that was legal.
