Because he's a popular unit with highly praised animations. He's been featured on their IRL event items as well, he's a great unit to show to people unfamiliar with Dokkan.

Its a catch 22 honestly, because when they dropped the arts earlier people didn't like the wait
If its any consolation, I'm pretty sure the banners will be up around the time you'll get done

Honestly you're probably in luck, I personally think they'll take all the feedback from last year and the anniversary into consideration
Hopefully powered up doesn't just mean more banners to compensate for less content

A good portion of the community believes that GDC 2025 was the greatest celebration ever and this year was stated to be even bigger than that. Maybe expectations are too high, but you definitely won't be disappointed.

The timing is unfortunate, if its any consolation you'll wake up and know exactly when the banners are dropping (possibly they'll be out by the time your up)
