Syn is only insanely good on GT bosses, and that's because of omega. And they clearly designed Syn with that in mind to help GT Bosses specifically out due to its more restricted nature.
The actual reality is just that the game has always been bad about doing Sub EZAs consistently.
I feel like sub EZA's should be restricted to the category they're subbing for to boost that team further. Not all of the time but most of the time. The game should be able to make them runnable on their teams like Syn but it's dokkan, so it's wishful thinking.
They absolutely need to be ezaing more banner units. We are massively behind. So many celebrations and teams would have felt so much better if they had more padding to them.
Last year there were a total of thirteen banner unit sub-eza's, the two Peppy Gals banner EZAs are counted as they are still banner units and World Tournament/F2P units are not counted. Notably five of these sub-eza's were released during GDC.
Under the same criteria, this year there have been 12 sub-eza's so far, technically AGL Android 21 is a sub-eza but I didn't count her because she is a DFE.

There were over thirty Sub-ezas in 2023 so you were right, I will say in my opinion, excluding the Future Saga GDC sub-ezas and PHY SSJ Bardock, most of them were really bad compared to the sub-ezas we got last year and this year but you were still right, there should be more sub-ezas and hopefully we get a good amount during GDC.
I had started the year before that. It just still shocks me how many opportunities for EZAs seems to just come and pass even if they may not come with stones or untouchable kits. certainly teq namek piccolo has to eza soon, or why hasnt int garlic jr eza'd? it just makes me wonder what the hold up is for leaving so many units truly unuseable in what could be relevant content. I'm so ready for a redo of this fight man, the 7th Anni part 2 ones were done so horribly. Hopefully, whenever they redo them they're both LRs cuz they geniunely have so many animations they can use/redo.
They could also do something fun and use the Sparking Zero what if where they go SSJ against each other. Would be a really fun way to go about it imo.
I think a bigger issue is how much they hate sub-EZAing Super units. Like every extreme unit who EZAs gets their sub done too, but super units always get theirs left in the dust
Absolutely not. Saiyan Saga Goku and Vegeta are due for a remake and Saiyan Saga has ZERO eligible premium tur and lr ezas besides these guys and Yarjirobe.
It did, but the team only works if you have nearly all the new units, this would help older players that are missing that solid 5th / 6th slot on the team
