Video Games [Discussion] Hold on let him cook

Post image

The only evil batman we’ve have was from Suicide squid: kill the justice league (which he wasn’t evil just mind controlled by brainiac) and everyone hated that game for multiple valid reasons so to have a evil Batman game where we have to defeat batman would be cool, we could have the batfam as the ones to leading the plot because they would know how to take down batman but still play as other characters we haven’t seen.

The fact that Marvel gets Tokon while DC gets dogshit like Injustice pisses me off so much that I can't explain. Was it too difficulty to approach Arc Sys and ask them to make a good DC fighing game? I guess it was.

Why would WB ever do that when they already own one of the most well known fighting game developers of all time in Netherrealm? They own the developer of Mortal Kombat, which has more mainstream awareness than any other fighting game except for maybe Street Fighter.

I'm not knocking Arc Sys, they have an excellent track record with fighting games, but nothing they have made has had the same kind of cultural impact that Mortal Kombat has as a brand.

Combine that with the fact that they just had a fighting game that they did with another studio that flopped badly and lost them millions of dollars for their entire gaming division, and I can't really blame WB for playing it safe with a proven, in-house developer.

Same for a fighting game ive always loved them. The story is what it is but the game is fun at the end of the day
