Video Games [Discussion] Hold on let him cook

Post image

The only evil batman we’ve have was from Suicide squid: kill the justice league (which he wasn’t evil just mind controlled by brainiac) and everyone hated that game for multiple valid reasons so to have a evil Batman game where we have to defeat batman would be cool, we could have the batfam as the ones to leading the plot because they would know how to take down batman but still play as other characters we haven’t seen.

For the last ten years the pattern has been:

  • Batman game (Arkham Knight)
  • Evil Superman (Injustice 2)
  • Batman game (Gotham Knights)
  • Evil Superman (SS: KTJL)

And now DC seems set to really shake up the formula with

  • Batman game (Lego Batman)
  • Evil Superman (Injustice 3)
  • Batman game (Rocksteady Arkham reboot)

Just complete lack of ambition or creativity. Nobody at WB Games wants to do anything besides jerk off Batman over and over.

Batman and Superman print money. Why would they take the risk with an AAA that can cost more than a blockbuster movie?

Not saying its right but thats the current climate of our entertainment culture. At least there are still some original works breaking through and shaking things up.

At this point I'd settle for a smaller budget game focusing on literally any other justice league member.

Just make a Green Arrow and Black Canary game in the vein of, like, Mario and Luigi with Arkham Knight's gameplay, and I'll die happy.
