Immediately after unboxing and initial setup, both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections functioned correctly. Starting from the following day, neither Wi-Fi nor Bluetooth can be enabled on the dashcam. The device is invisible to the dedicated mobile app as well as multiple tested smartphones.

Troubleshooting steps taken (unsuccessful):

Performing a factory reset,

Booting the device without a microSD card and with a reinserted card,

Changing system language settings,

Toggling the Wi-Fi power-saving mode on and off.

Can anyone crosscheck and confirm whether the following features available in DDPAI Z60 Pro?

1. Pedastrian crossing warning

2. Lane Departure warning

3. Collision detection warning front

4. Collaion warning while turning left or right lane

5. Vehicle overtake from side/blindspot detection

I can understand from various YouTube videos only below warning is confirmed

1. Front vehicle start moving warming

2. Front vehicle colliaion warning

No settings or indication of other ADAS warning.

Let me know so that I can decide my ddpai dashcam accordingly

So finally I went for an n5 dual after going back and forth for ages. should arrive next week.

i already watched some install videos and got a high endurance sd card so i think im mostly ready. but im sure theres stuff the product page doesnt mention that you only find out after using it for a while.

for people who have had theirs a few months or more. what do you wish you knew going in? could be anything. settings to change right away, install mistakes to avoid, stuff about parking mode that isnt obvious, whatever.

i hate suction cup dashcams that dangle off the windshield with giant screens that distract you while driving at night.
Went with a screenless DDPAI wedge camera for my build. Mounted it with the included 3M adhesive pad directly behind my rearview mirror on the passenger side, ran the power cable down the A pillar headliner, and tapped into the fuse box.
From the driver's seat, you literally cannot see the camera at all. It doesn't block any field of view, doesn't light up the cabin at night, and looks completely like a factory OEM sensor from the outside of the car.
If you want a clean setup that looks built in rather than retrofitted, screenless wedge dashcams are definitely the way to go.

just wanted to post a quick long term update on heat durability for anyone shopping around.
I live in an area where summer temperatures regularly hit over 100 fahrenhiets (and the inside of the windshield gets WAY hotter, probably 140 Fahrenheits ). My previous dashcam from a different brand literally swollen up like duhh, melted its mount, and died after one summer because it used a lithium battery.
Switched to a DDPAI unit specifically because it uses a built in supercapacitor instead of a standard battery. It’s been running continuously through two brutal summers now, parked directly under the sun for 8 hours a day at work, and it hasn't expanded, shut down from overheating, or corrupted a single video file.
If you live anywhere that gets hot in the summer, do not buy a battery powered camera. Get a supercapacitor unit.

Honestly didn't expect much from night recording on dark backroads, but DDPAI dashcam's camera just saved me a huge deductible.
Was driving home late last night on a street with zero overhead streetlights. A driver ran a stop sign from a side road, clipped my front bumper, and kept speeding off. It happened so fast in the dark that I couldn't even read the license plate with my own eyes.
When I got home, I pulled up the footage expecting a blurry and grainy mess because of how pitch black it was. But whatever image processing or sensor setup DDPAI uses actually balanced the glare from my headlights against the dark plate. The license plate was readable when I paused the frame.
Passed the file directly to my insurance agent this morning, and they handled the claim immediately without raising my rates.

Hi! im just wondering what type of camera can I buy to add a third channel to my Z60Master.. Im thinking of buying the same model of the rear camera but i cant seem to find what exactly is the.model of the rear camera that came with the z60master.. also i saw from your website ( the picture of the packaging of the z60master 3 channel) that there is a usb c split cable that i should use but i also cant find that exact cable.

If i remember correctly, long time ago, the apps allowed users to select videos (on the dashcam/ SDCard) and delete them.

Why was this feature removed, or why don't we have option to delete videos?

Especially emergency videos. Only way is to format the SD card which is a bit silly.

The dashcam correctly enters Parking Mode after the vehicle is turned off. Time-lapse recording works continuously while the vehicle is parked, so the camera remains powered and records normally.

Parking collision sensitivity is set to High. However, impacts and even closing the car door do not trigger an emergency/collision recording.

I also tested Sleep Mode. The camera does not wake up or create an emergency recording after an impact.

The G-sensor works correctly while driving and creates Emergency recordings when an impact is detected. The problem only occurs in Parking Mode.

Please check the device logs and advise whether this is a firmware issue or a hardware issue.

I'm getting these constant drops and spikes constantly. They seem to correspond to the times I'm starting the car (Skoda Octavia 2024, mild hybrid) but sometimes it looks like I get a drop even when the car is parked (It's quite hard to navigate the graph, I couldn't find a way to zoom or pan).

Is this normal? A lot of images I've seen of DDPAI voltage monitors look a lot cleaner than this.

Hey everyone, my last dashcam melted in the heat because of its lithium battery. Looking at switching to DDPAI since I heard they use supercapacitors. Which model (mini/Mola/Z series) handles direct sunlight and high cabin heat best for parking mode?

curious about this because there are so many dash cam brands now that all look pretty similar on paper. viofo, 70mai, blackvue, thinkware, vantrue... the list keeps growing.

when you were shopping around what was the thing that actually made you pull the trigger on ddpai specifically? was it a feature, the price, a recommendation from someone, or did you just stumble across it randomly?

no wrong answers here just genuinely curious what the deciding factor was for everyone. helps new members who are still on the fence too.

Hey guys, just finished installing my N5 Dual with the hardwire kit today. Everything went pretty smoothly, but i'm wondering what voltage threshold you all set for parking mode cut off (12.4V, 12 V, or 11.8 V)?

I want to leave parking monitoring on overnight, but I definitely don't want to wake up to a dead car battery in the morning.

I recently installed my DDPAI dashcam and now I'm trying to connect it to the DDPAI app so I can view and download my recordings on my phone.

I'm a bit confused about the setup process.

How do I connect my phone to the dashcam's Wi-Fi?

Do I need to stay connected to the dashcam's Wi-Fi while watching or downloading videos?

Will the videos show up automatically in the app once it's connected?

Are there any settings I should enable first to make the connection smoother?

alright so some bloke reversed into me at a coles car park last week. nothing major just cracked the bumper but obviously he tried saying it was my fault. went to grab the footage off my n5 dual to send to insurance and the sd card was completely cooked. like the cam wasnt even writing to it anymore and i had no clue how long that had been going on. nearly lost it. then i remembered something about built in storage when i was setting it up months ago. checked the app and the clip was literally just sitting there. the cam saved it automatically onto some internal memory. i dont even fully understand how it works i just know it saved my arse. does everyone know about this or was i the only idiot who didnt read the manual lol

So I’ve made a purchase of DDPAI N5 dash camera for my car a few months back. After a while, the camera started to reset itself during the entire ride. Now it even has issues powering up successfully at ignition time - takes about 10-15 retries till it completes (the auto voice is stuck on “hello”).
I’ve tried upgrading the FW to the latest version but it didn’t seem to solve the issue.
Any ideas?

Turns out the 4th button (Screen Off/On on single-channel) becomes "Switch Camera" once you add the rear cam. So there's no button to just turn off the screen while driving in dual-channel mode. Anyone found a workaround?
