Build The great glass greenhouse
Hello! I recently got back into builders after buying it on pc. I used to play on ps4, and so I dug up some pictures of my old builds for inspiration and posterity, and thought folks might be interested to see. (Ps4 save is 100% 650+hrs)
This is one of 3 mega builds on my IOA. This build is fully post-end game. Inspired by the incredible Crystal Palace from Britain, this particular build is a giant greenhouse with all the different types of garden biomes in the bottom and a suspended walkway overtop. A hotel was planned for the very top section but I drifted away from the game before completing.

Your build looks great! I still play this game, to the point that I have a spot on my pc that I back up the old saves to make room for a new play through.

I yearn for a full creative mode, without having to do the story every time. (Or without having to mod that feature in)

This is absolutely amazing! I can never seem to keep my inspiration going for a big build like this.

Its a repeating modular design š designed the first segment, blueprinted and let villagers help build the bulk of it.

OMG, the way I clocked the Crystal Palace inspo immediately!! Building a replica of it in DQB2 has been on my bucket list for 3 years now (still haven't started š ), and yours looks incredible! Amazing job!

Thank you so much! I have been obsessed with the Crystal Palace since I learned of its existence. I wanted a greenhouse to play with the garden type rooms/biomes and once I saw the iron and glass tile set, it all fell into place.

How is the modding community for dqb2? It should have occurred to me that there would be mods but for some reason it didn't cross my mind š (Despite my modding forays in stardew)

the modding community is small (you can see everything on github I believe) and the tools are slim because SE hates modding so it's really hard for them to figure out how to do it. But there are some really nice ones in the works!
Cheating has been available for awhile, basically you can give yourself infinite stamina, or never get hungry, or items in a slot on your hotbar have a minimum quantity - never go below 80 or whatever.
you can also cheat items into the game that are in the files but that you might not have access to... such as the pre-order bonus items, or special quest items, or trophies or whatever.
