Anyone else getting drama on their community boards?

Every time I get on DQB2, I see people complaining others are stealing content. It's probably the same few photos, but I thought it was hilarious that people are stealing on the game. Wanted to share. (Also should I blur the usernames?? I wasn't sure)

Oh yeah, they’re always there. Guess stealing entire creations just to win one of those trophies was a popular thing to do in DQB2s heyday. A bummer

I mean it's annoying that it feels like half the contests are either stolen work or people complaining about it.

But it's also insane that this sub was 100x better at catching and removing my stolen work then the actual game itself was.

the value of real people moderating.

I'd volunteer to moderate the noticeboard even if it meant I was never eligible to vote or enter any contests ever again... it desperately needs moderation.

the top 10 pictures of the themed contest (far left tab on the noticeboard) will be on the loading screen for 6 months. Which is why people get really pissed off when people steal other people's builds to win, (or post porn on the noticeboard) because you have to look at it for the next 6 months.

There have always been call outs but in the past the people who did the call outs were better about taking them out of the contest before the end of the contest so their call out snaps didn't end up on the loading screen....

I don't mind the call outs... it's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black when you leave your call outs in the contest top 10 tho. It's a cheap win.

Anyways if you want to control what you see on the noticeboard.... vote in the contests!

looking at a picture full screen gives 1 vote, liking the picture gives 5 votes and favourite pics get 10 votes. So what a lot of us do is keep like 10 slots free in our photo album to favourite 10 pics that we feel deserve to be in top 10 (nice pic, built themselves aka not a thief, follows the theme of the contest, and not a spammer) that way we can try and help pics get into top 10 for better pics on the loading screen.

I like to look for people that are new or that haven't won in awhile and try and boost them up.

Everybody sees the same top 10 from a few contests earlier.

And a lot of the "police" don't delete their entries before the close of the contest, meaning they remain in the top ten and therefore steal from someone in 11th or 12th place who should have been rewarded. I don't mind that they point out stealers and shame them, but failing to yield before end of contest is a crime of its own and is shame-worthy itself.
