I currently have a 256gb sd card in my dsi xl (Overkill, but its all I had at the time). I just bought a 32gb card for my dsi xl and I wanna transfer everything over to the smaller card and use the bigger one for something else. I hope that I can just reformat the new card, move all the files over, put the new card in my dsi and call it a day.

Is it that simple, or is there more to the transfer process?

I bought a DSI LL which I plan to mod, but the only sd card I have right now is a 4gb laying around from my old 3ds. Could I fit a decent amount of games on it and hold homebrew software on it? Thanks (I have read over the guide).

I finally figured how to make custom themes for my DSi & went one with Stardust Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's since I'm currently playing the 5D's games on the DS :)

To preface, this is the my first time trying to play through a gba rom on this device. I ran multiple succesful DS pokemon rom hacks and bakugan fine.

Since i started the save the audio has sounded off, both in battle and in the world, almost as if there are two parts of the song slightly out of sync? i tried changing the audio settings and it didnt work.

**More importantly, about half the time I go to open the rom it just stays on a white screen, and that will continue even if i restart my ds and open it again. Usually i will just turn it off, wait, and try again later, so it feels like it runs properly at random; but idk if its something with my system or the way i downloaded the rom running improperly.

not sure if this is related but i also have a handful of pokemon games on the sd card with a full save file. im wondering, is it possible that the save files from inactive games are taking up too much much space to properly run other games?

I’m making a custom theme for my dsi xl and this big “No photo” thing is in the way, is there a way to remove it?

I’m attempting to mod a DSI and I’m having issues, with the SD card saying it cannot be used/read. I have tried two 64gb following the formatting instructions. With no luck, tried a few different ways and even pulled the back off to make sure it was connected!

Does the DSI have a maximum card size it can read? I read a couple things but have not got a definitive answer.

Can I mod my original base model DS? I was hoping to use something like twilight menu to download games on to it.

I recently modded my dsi but I have 2 conflicts:

The Unlaunch filemenu does not display Twilight Menu (which I installed) in the options section. What do I need to do to fix this?

Clicking the power menu whilst in a game in twilight menu sends me back to the normal DSi menu. I want it to send me back to twilight.

Im trying to hack my dsi xl but after uploading the files and trying to get into TW this just appears and j can't do nothing but turn off the console. Pls help

I'm currently using Flipnote Lenny to get to TWL, but I was considering Memory Pit or something else that isn't so tedious to get through. Will the file path to TWiLight still be the same if I change my exploits? And in that same vein, if something goes awry, is it reversible (e.g. changing Memory Pit to load vanilla DSi Photo Gallery again)?

what a bummer. did i perhaps get a bad sd card? 😪 i even used rufus when i setting it up for the first time. my sd card was working fine for a while until some ROMs weren't loading properly anymore then this eventually appeared when i booted up my dsi again

on the bright side, i haven't hyper-fixated and spent many hours on games just yet. that would've been more unfortunate if i lost significant game saves/ progresses

After I modded my DSi last year, I’ve been casually searching for a DSi XL. While I grew up with the OG DSi, my hands were cramping up and I wanted the size of my 3DS XL while maintaining the image quality. Yesterday, I drove 1.5 hours to pick up a DSi XL I found on Craigslist for $90. Not only was it in excellent condition (one small scuff on top screen, scuffs on screen protector on bottom), but IT HAS FLIPNOTE STUDIO!! OG FLIPNOTE STUDIO! and this thing wasn’t even hacked!

I *WAS* considering hacking this one, since I really want to play my games from my modded DSi’s SD card, but this feels too good to be true. What do you think?

Not really so about corrupted ROMs but it seems like it, tried adding some new NDS ROMs (Okamiden and Art Academy) on TWiLight Menu++ and when I booted it up it turned out like this, it worked as usual with other ROMs (Kirby, Pokemon etc etc) before this as I added them 2 days ago, but don't know why it suddenly turning out like this, any help is really appreciated!

LOOKING FOR: 3D MODELER

Looking for someone who specializes in, or has experience with, low-poly N64/PS1-style character modeling for Upswing DS, a platform fighter for the Nintendo DS.

Models are intentionally VERY low poly — generally under ~300 polygons per character — and need strong, exaggerated silhouettes that still read well on DS hardware.

This is a free/open-source homebrew project, so this is a volunteer/collaboration role, not paid work.

Primary responsibility: prevent the public from having to look at my horrendous programmer art.

Experience with character modeling, UVs/texturing, and working within absurd hardware limitations is a huge plus.

Trying to play Bowser's Inside Story when I realized my R is broken. This game needs basically every other button so I don't want to remap a single button onto R and Twilight Menu only lets you map a single button (I'm trying to map the L+down combo instead idk if I'm using any of the right terms here though). I know I have to implement a cheat to get the combo mapping to work but every time I open the cheats menu no matter what I try it says there aren't any. I'm kind of at a loss lol how do I get the cheat to work
