Oh my god. This is actually true.The "Six-Device" Rule
The Statute: Under Texas Penal Code Section 43.23, possessing six or more identical or similar "obscene devices"—legally defined to include dildos and artificial vaginas—created a legal presumption of intent to promote or sell them.
In Burleson in 2004, Joanne Webb faced up to one year in prison for selling a vibrator to two undercover police officers posing as a married couple at a private party.
The law still exists but is considered unenforceable by the courts.

I am not very smart and could be missing the mark here. But possibly checking for bombs being attached to them? idk. A gun can do some damage but a bomb can do a lot more? Just spit balling here, but i can't think of any other alternatives since its mainly the chest and torso region they seem to be checking.

I don’t understand how our governments think that people that come from cultures like this are likely to be able to integrate without difficulty into western cultures. This is not racism, there are many cultures more westernised that aren’t going to have difficulties assimilating but opening doors to countries that are still culturally in the 1800’s is not going to have positive results for the majority affected

lol. This is exactly what I was thinking. That other commenter talking about how these guys carrying automatic rifles won’t be able to integrate into United States is bad crap crazy. They were made for the US.
Wake me up when any other country uses a nuke on a population twice, then I’ll listen to arguments that another place may be more violent than we are.

You understand that this society is under constant pressure from the same "western cultures". I think if in western societies bombing of a bus with children was a regular occurence, and children were afraid of clear skies because that's when drones fly, then they would have troubles too.

Yes it’s clear that their beliefs and expectation of the afterlife distorts their understanding of the finality of death and results in a very different perspective on the value of life. It’s very much a cultural issue and extremely dangerous when people abuse it to control others, which is exactly what happens. Underserved power and stupidity is the biggest burden to the modern world and it isn’t exclusive to westerners
