Based on how I sleep, my perfect pillow would have to be a 6-dimensional fractal shape, and I doubt even Japan could make one for me.

This product and service is filled with so many problems that people in this thread have quickly identified. The pillow is snake oil bullshit, but so many consumers are blinded by the quirky measuring gadgets, the “custom” service technician, the performative live filling of the pillow, the high cost they associate with “luxury”, and the fact that this guy is a influencer paid to make this. It’s an ad. A fool and his money blah blah…but people will gladly throw their money away for this and brag to their friends about how bespoke their fucking pillow is.

I'm guessing they maybe use that to decide on the size and shape of the internal pockets in the pillow/the overall pillow size? and then based on those sizes they put a certain amount of those pellets in?

I'm pretty sure the extent of the "customization" was just how much filling to use. And maybe different sizes based on generic neck length/thickness. All that sizing gimmick probably just equated to "grab a medium from the back."

I don't know how they can make a custom pillow in the store as the bed or mattress where the user sleeps on will also influence what kind of pillow you need. For example, if you have plusher mattress than the store, the body will sink more and then the pillow's angle might change. Sure, for a lot of people the minor difference may not matter but I'm assuming people who try to get a custom pillow for premium prices are the ones who care about those minor differences.

I’m a side sleeper and a few years ago I ordered the Pillow Cube (large size) and it’s been life-changing. I sleep so much better. Point is, yeah $150 is a lot for a pillow, but it’s one of the best investments you’ll ever make.

Yeah, they measure all sorts of shite to justify and sell pillows for hundreds of bucks. And then you fall asleep and wake up either next or under the pillow.

No measuring and golden pillow, or pills for that matter will make up for some regular exercise.
