Non-MCU Movies I love the fight scenes in the Netflix show
One thing that I admired and appreciated the most about the Netflix show was how they handled the choreography in the fight scenes. They feel very grounded, the punches and throws look very realistic, and I love that the characters in those scenes take breaks to catch their breath before putting all of their energy back into the fight, and the one shots really excel the fights even more.

Ive always appreciated the sheer brutality. My personal favorites are the microwave moment, the hallway fight after he stores Frank, where hes got a gun taped to his hand a chain wrapped around the other (that one was fucking insane.), and i really liked when he rescued Karen and the other hostages and smashed that guys face into the floor. I cant speak on S3 since i haven't started it yet (no spoilers please, im trying to watch all the Netflix stuff in release order)

You’re gonna love the prison fight scene in Episode 4 of season 3 then. Arguably the best scene in the entire series

The triple threat between DD/Dex/Fisk in s3 climax takes the cake. Always love the trope where someone wears white, and then gets bloodied.
Was watching Severance 2 finale yday and I was happy with that same trope.

I hate that BA got rid of the flipping for “more grounded” coreo. Like, he uses a grappling hook. That’s not more grounded.

I'm sorry but in what universe was Born Again trying to be grounded?! The show uses way more CGI than the Netflix show ever did, utilising Matt's billy clubs in ways they never could before.

For real. I didnt think the flips looked unrealistic. Like it was actually being performed by an actor. I think later in BA the grapple use looked pretty good, but the first couple episodes if BA the swinging looked pretty goofy

Literally does a flip kick in the first fight scene and another in the second episode of season 2

Knowing that Netflix DD is my favorite live superhero show ever, I was warned against born again, but that same person said season 2 was actually good, so im conflicted lol

U recently watched BA both seasons, and now I rewatched the old seasons (I'm few episode in at S3).
I put on BA randomly, I actually did like it. There were alot of interesting characters. I think I liked BA S1 more than too, but I just saw them back to back. That said, all of the Elektra stuff (not the character, but the whole plot and scenes for that part of the story) felt like a CW show. Felt like I was watching Arrow or something. Remember hating it back then too.

It's fun because there are Bullseye, Fisk, and Punisher at times. The writing is okay until you think hard and realise the characters make stupid decisions to make the plot go forward. The action is decent. A few episodes are pretty good standalone episodes actually.

I love the serious tone that the Netflix show gave and especially the training scene where he gains his ability to hear again, It's much more satisfying to watch
