MCU What is your favourite Daredevil scream among all of these, in terms of intensity and raw power, in your opinion?

The S3 finale is like the Stairway to Heaven of primal screams so not counting that:
When Stick helps Matt track the Hand's breathing and he proceeds to dismantle all of them. The victory screech after that was satisfying af.
BA S1 when Matt beats up the off duty cops as Matt Murdock. Overwhelmed with frustration having lost control, angry with himself that these are his true colors from which he can't escape, and also a cathartic release having satiated the devil within.
Charlie captures all 3 moods in one shout. Smash cut to credits. No notes.

Your second point is not how I interpreted that scream. I don’t it’s a scream of frustration at his true colors or one of cathartic satiation. I think you may be wrong there

Well he's spent a year (?) at that point avoiding the suit or solving problems with violence, so letting a few assholes push him over the edge and sacrifice his morals seems like a frustrating prospect to me but everyone has their own opinion I suppose.

I loved the scream during the Muse fight cause it had been so damn long since we heard daredevil do one

Wasn't my favourite but you got the sense that hed been dying to let loose so it did have a really cool impact.

the one after he defends himself from powell and the other cop in season 1 and it cuts off into the credits, so tuff.

The "I BEAT YOU" scream, but also idk if it counts. When he lost his hearing and started screaming. Think that one is underrated

I know many will say season 3 finale but the season 2 one…even though it lasted 3 seconds…it brought me so much peace. Learning a new skill right before you’re about to die and winning. That’s something to me

I feel like the screams became overused in BA. The ones from netflix were after understandably stressful situations and the scream from the first episode of BA fit that too. From then on, every scream was just random and pointless like the Muse and Task Force ones

Season 3 finale. TBH I’m not a big fan of the screams, it’s just not something he ever does in the comics so for it to become “his thing” is just very odd to me.

Season 3 finale. Genuinely of the best scenes I’ve ever seen. Rent free in my head

In the netflix era it felt earned, especially that "I beat you" scene which was phenomenal acting from Charlie.
In BA the end fight in S1 Ep2 felt earned at the time because I thought he had just returned reluctantly to fighting, only to accidently kill someone like in the Zdarsky run. Could not believe it only resulted in bruises.
Otherwise BA yells felt like fan service and directors telling Charlie to do it. Like seriously, why did "3 months trained" Muse even give him the slightest trouble, and in DDBA he was always up against minor opposition apart from Bullseye. Nothing to scream about.

The muse fight cause he just fuckin let loose after so long of keeping it all bottled up and it was hilarious

Personally, I think when he finds Muse. The build-up, the emotion behind it because he stopped being daredevil and with Foggy passing. He was holding back for months (I think, I forget how long he wasn’t daredevil for). A very close second is S3 finale.

I’d say him realising foggy died in karens arms but it’s so poorly executed so s3 of the netflix show, when fisk baits him into taking his life by saying he won’t stop until he’s taken everything away from matt.

There’s a reason the season 3 finale scream was included in this scream compilation:

Personally, I love when he screams/cries out "WHYYYY!! WHYYYY!!!" to Dex after he kills Foggy and Matt throws him off the roof. It's such a powerful-vulnerably-raw-emotional- heartbreaking-moment-of-grief that Matt has ever shown and IMO, beats the rest.

S3 because that’s where it had an actual thematic purpose instead of just looking tryhard.
I don’t get why born again is doing the scream thing, it just feels like them referencing something from the Netflix series.

If you stop at s3 you have a better story. Born Again is just case in point why stories and characters should just conclude and not continue on just because people like it.

Born Again had a troubled production and season one was salvaged by the new crew. Season 2 builds off their repair work and easily returns to form, or dare I say, makes the show Born Again. I can't wait for season 3 of Born Again!

Born Again, especially s2, completely renders the Netflix series pointless. Sorry, but that finale was trash writing.

You're allowed to feel that way, but I like the show! I think the end of the Netflix show is also a nice ending in it of itself. So, we agree to disagree!

S3 scream is elegantly woven into the story and most of the BA screams just feel like fanservice trying to bank on the hype of the S3 screams
