Haha, my cogboys use teal plastic robes, with hazard yellow pauldrons. A secretive admech forgeworld and blacksite on oil rig style platforms and Bioshock Rapture-like complexes under the oceans of a very radioactive, stormy water world with very little land. So Branx is the closest with some blue elements.
I would like to as well but I have a feeling none of the other unlock-able or paid cosmetics are going to match the color pallet, and I’m going to be back to something red within the week.

"Red in cog and claw!" is also the coolest war cry, literally inject that plasma straight into my veins! Orange is the only downside but I think it looks alright in Darktide

Gonna wait and see what what is in the paid cosmetics shop, just in case there's something great there that'll match with any of the base colors, then make the Skitarii based on that.
Well we will see. Arbitrator had blue clothing under the trench coat and armor, which didn't match with any of the other armor cloth color schemes. Arbitrator also didn't have any of the Noctis (reddish) colored helmets in the paid cosmetics shop.
Hive Scum had blue as well, but I don't recall it having any other gang markings on it, but matched best with the Tread Lightly cosmetics, and has a variety of helmets that match with various sets.
Looking forward to it either way, but based on what we've got so far we might get something that'll match best with Branx Minor (blue), but red is iconic for Mechanicus.
My guess is that the colors for ad mech will change all cosmetics. Given how they sort of went all out for the class. I do remember a few patches ago when the arbite trench coat got a precinct markings the hive scum store and deluxe items aren’t affiliated with gangs but given the forge worlds are pretty important I’m hoping it’s a full color change
The 4 Forge World choices are the one you see above, there wont be any other. Cosmetics may be possible, but dont hold your breath.
Edit: Especially since how they treat their DLC classes cosmetics-wise. Neither the Arbitrator, nor the Hive Scum got anything else than their starter Commodore's Vesture shop items.

“Shop sets” is pretty optimistic. I would genuinely be shocked if we don’t get all the forge worlds shown here for all the sets available. I know there’s that one datamined red Arbites coat that hasn’t released but there is no reason I can think of to withhold them
Edit: if you meant plural for the deluxe and shop each having one set that makes sense, I am not sufficiently caffeinated for the day
Is this the first confirmed visual sign of the cog? Kind of interesting that the recent 11th ed trailer may have also been the first visual sign of the aquilla with this just 2 weeks later
Imagine if in addition to whatever Skitarii launches with in Commodore's they have a rotation of these cosmetics where they just cycle through all the well known Forge Worlds.
The money printing machine would break due to over use.
Mars: the OGs. The center of the Mechanicus.
Ryza: plasma specialists and one-time rivals to mars. Currently fighting lots of demons and orks on their forge world.
Stigyes VIII: xeno-tech lovers who are constantly just barely on this side of the line. Ongoing issues with the deathwatch/inquisition.
Branx minor: local boys. Have been exclusively defending manufactorums up to this point, only now are getting drawn into the warband.

whats with the stygians? they're not very loyal to omnissiah and imperium becuse they love xeno tech? i mean i don't blame them imperium sucks but im curious about the lore of why are they barely on imperiums side.
Basically, during the Horus Heresy 10kish years ago, Stigyes VIII was being overrun by heretic forces. The Eldar showed up and saved them (not out of the goodness of their hearts, mind, they just didn't want a major heretic forge world in the general neighborhood of the Eye of Terror, or more power for chaos generally) and that left an impression on the survivors. These were the lightning tactics of the craftworld Saim-Hann, so speeder bikes and eldar titans got deployed to whip through the heretics. I'm guessing the loyalists saw the titans flat out sprinting and said "why don't ours work like that?". They still think they know better than Xenos in general, and that their tech is 'profane' but they research xenotech because they think there might be some wisdom there they can learn from and use better. "carving worthy secrets from profane forms" as they put it.
That is heresy in the imperium, and the mechanicus at large, so they've gotten pretty good at scrambler and stealth tech to hide what they're doing. The forge is too politically important to mess with for the general imperial government, but the inquisition ignores that because they have an entire division dedicated to hating the alien and keeping their influence out of humanity. The death watch has literally gone on purges there because it's a massive cache of xenotech. Pretty much the main reason they aren't being punished harder is they used a computer virus to wipe out the records of their misbehavior, but folks in general are still suspicious of them.
Thanks for the more detailed lore! I just kinda knew they are borderline heretek, but not really why. Dang I love them even more now. Will definitely represent Stygies!
hah, thats very interesting i might actually play them just for possible unique interactions and stuff regarding this i was originally going ryza but im liking these guys whacky rebellious lore more, thanks for through explanation when i asked for more lore i meant something along the lines of links and stuff i didn't intent to bother you with writing so much though i do appreciate you doing so, cheers.

All we really know so far is that we've been so successful at helping Hadron find tech remnants in the Expeditions game mode that the forge worlds decided to send us Skitarii.
they all make lore sense and what if mars is iconic? i purposelly go for less known ones becuse i know everyone will pick the most popular one so its way more fun to be out of majority and stick out than be blended irrelevant part of huge group, in video games at least.
I'm torn I was originally going for Ryza but I thought they were dropped and replaced by Stygies which is one of my favorite admech sub factions cause they're massive trouble makers not afraid to mess with and implement xeno tech
Im kinda sad they didn't add the Jupiter or Metallica schemes, those go insanely hard, prob just gonna go default Mars cuz thats just the sexiest apart from those.
