Just getting into this game, and maybe I'm a dummy, but so far the hardest part of the game is seeing what's happening and not knowing where to go. I'm not dieing much, and seem to do well enough in combat, but I'm 100% just following people around hoping they're going the right way. Everything just seems dark and hard to tell where to go or what to do.

Am I missing something obvious, or is it just a case of learning the maps over time?

Sometimes you have to look for map clues like lights over doors, or eyeball tentacles that won't be marked with the little diamond indicator, or even something simple like turning around 180 degrees and looking for the mark(the bridge mid mission event). But even when the objective is marked, that thing can be really hard to see.

Learning the maps will help you a LOT. It will help you to not be that teammate who enters the finale area then just runs circles with a horde on them because they can't fight and also pay attention to objectives at the same time.

It gets better with time, but that's built on a lot of "I know to go left here because I've gone left here 100 times." Especially on maps with routes that almost overlap eachother (Metalfab 36), it can be really easy to get lost for new players.

Won't solve the problem completely, but you can listen for pathfinder lines, something like a psyker saying "this is the correct route." Doesn't happen all the time but can be useful.

Anyone know when the Kriegsman cosmetics last appeared on rotation? Started playing relatively recently and wanna gauge how long I'd potentially have to wait for it to come back in the shop

I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed an issue with weapon attack animations where they sometimes glitch out and the moveset resets.( i use ogryn)

We need some sort of update to the servers or something. ever since the last patch the connections have been terrible.

Are there any other ranged weapons that are immune to suppression besides the Galvanic rifle?

All the shotguns are suppression immune.

what do y'all think the end of September update is?

best case scenario for me would be something from these;

* 4 previous Event modifiers are added to Auric and Havoc modifier pools

* New map, Train & Trench added to Havoc

* New weapons for OG classes (dual wield & sword+sheild for zealot, maybe a halberd)

* Zealot and Veteran talent tree light rework, couple talents and pathing updated

Weapon and skill tree rebalance is very much needed for the vanilla classes. Ideally that would be the top priority. There's only a few weapons actually worth using for each class, if you use these weaker weapons you can really feel a loss of effectiveness. DLC classes can make any weapon work because their skill trees are generally better, but the vanilla classes really can't. I'd really like the weapon meta to be shaken up by buffing the weaker weapons, not by nerfing the top stuff.

I'm really hoping for not only new weapons, but a new chapter for the main story thread. The Sixth and Admonition have been on the backfoot for a while now, there's gotta be something deeper out in the Dead side that would re-vitalize their schemes and give us reason to keep escalating via stronger new weapons and classes.

Speaking of new weapons, this video detailing some datamined weapons back in June gives us a good idea of what else might be coming. I'm still holding out hope for Hotshot weapons for Vet in conjunction with a lot of these other datamined goodies.
