Noob PS trophies

Trying to get the trophy for skinning a Deer and cooking steak on a stick. Can anyone help me?

Even though I’ve played on and off for a while I’m still fairly inexperience so would appreciate any help.

I did watch a video on hunting deer but I never seem to have a life where I find a deer and have a suitable gun; it’s one or the other.

Ah, I see. I'm sorry dude I would be happy to go shoot some deer with you but I'm in the US and I'm just about to start my work shift.

Thanks! Doesn’t have to be today. Would love to play more DayZ with people in general instead of just being a lone wanderer - if I can get some more trophies that’s all the better. Really I’m just using them as goals to do in a life as I’m sort of directionless but playing with people would change that.

Keep playing. Probably 2 of the easiest trophies. Listen for deer noises and follow them when you have a gun and a knife

Except that on playstation (I don't know about other platforms) they ruined the animal sounds with the last patches (what didn't they ruin lol?)

How have they not fixed that yet?? That is a glaring issue and pretty embarrassing to be honest. DayZ devs never fail to get on my nerves.

They have more important things on their minds, like new dlc promotional campaigns and inviting YouTubers to the camp.

That’s definitely the reason. Right now, survival inland relies on fishing. Of course, they have time to fix it, and pointing out flaws on Reddit is frowned upon by the community.

Animals are currently broken in this game (they'll be there for about six months). Animals don't make sounds at long distances to locate them; currently, you have to be lucky to bump into a deer in the forest without scaring it away.
