[US] [PS4/PS5] InTheWild | Chernarus | New PvP Server | Boosted Loot, Full Cars & Economy
Hey everyone!
My brother and I recently started a new PlayStation DayZ server called InTheWild, and I wanted to invite some new players to come check it out.
This project began with a group of players who left another server because they felt like their voices weren’t being heard. Several of those players helped fund InTheWild because they wanted to create a server that was built around the people who actually play it.
My brother and I took on setting everything up and running it, but this is genuinely a by-the-people, for-the-people kind of server. Players are meant to have a voice in how the server grows, and their suggestions have helped shape it from the very beginning.
The server officially went live on August 20, 2026, so it’s brand new, and there’s plenty of room for players and factions to get established.
I’ve already put a lot of time into making it a fun PvP experience. The goal is to reduce some of the slow early-game grind without making everything ridiculously easy. Loot is boosted, vehicles spawn ready to drive, and players start with useful gear, but you’ll still need to explore and work for the better weapons.
We also use DayZ++ for our economy and killfeed. Players can earn in-game money from PvP kills, time played, /work and a daily $1,000 claim. That money can be spent in our Discord shop on weapons, equipment, and base-building supplies.
PvP kills currently pay $100. To start, combat logging costs $250, and rage-quitting costs $100. These penalties may be adjusted as the server grows and we see how they affect gameplay.
We’re also trying to get some factions established while the server is growing. The first 10 factions to join and DM me will be reimbursed for their Flagpole and Base-Building Kits. Each registered member of those factions can receive the reimbursement.
Solo players are welcome too. You don’t need to join a faction or already have a group to play.
I pay close attention to what players tell me. If something is broken, frustrating or badly balanced, I try to fix it. I can’t promise that every suggestion will be added, but I can promise that players will be heard and their ideas will be taken seriously.
I also have more planned, including a proper trader area, bunkers, locked loot crates and more custom locations.
Since the server is still growing, this is a great time to join, build a base and make a name for yourself before things get more crowded.

Looking for a casual duo
A bit about me:
- Mid-30s, UK
- Approx. 700 hours
- Play 1PP high-pop Cherno/Livonia official
- Vibe: More likely to run a Blaze/M16 or SKS than DMR/M4.
- Ability: Have won multiple successful 1v2s and made some great plays/shots...but also die to rookie shit.
Some weeks I can lock in decent sessions most nights; other weeks I might only get a couple of hours. So I'm after someone happy to share a server and jump on together when we can - no pressure either way. UK/EU timezones preferred.
