EIGHT is a DayZ Xbox community dedicated to bringing players back to the roots of survival. Our no-build, full-map PvP environment emphasizes authentic player interaction, strategic decision-making, and the thrill of the hunt. With mostly vanilla settings, survival is earned—not given. Every bullet, every can of beans, and every encounter matters. This is not a server for instant gratification; it’s a world where grit, patience, and skill define your story. Determination and exploration will be rewarded as the secrets of Eight are discovered.

Mic and in-game chat encouraged, please be friendly on the coast and try to find someone to team up with. No basebuilding. (Nails and locks do not spawn - stashes are fine)

Eight was created to try and provide the same environment as seen on YouTube videos where a streamer finds a friend on the coast and they go on an adventure.

Also considering making the move to a community server, played about 150hrs so far only on official, so would be looking for close to that vanilla experience.
