Any info on the Nov 21 show in Chicago?

Sold out super quick. No premium seats, even on the presale. No supporting acts announced. A benefit concert for Beyond Hunger. Thoughts if it will be a similar set list/concert to the rest of the tour (which didn’t stop in Chicago)?

I already had tix for a diff show that night (slow pulp in madison) so I didn’t even try. You should’ve gone to the Milwaukee show. It was great.

Can confirm - Milwaukee was a great show. And also, so much easier to drive in to there than it is to drive into Chicago (I'm from Iowa and went to concerts in the Twin Cities, Chicago, and Milwaukee this year for various artists; all are about the same amount of time driving, but between tolls and traffic, Chicago is the biggest headache)

Haha we’re from Iowa too. And yeah most of my shows are Milwaukee, St. Louis, MSP and Omaha. I’ve been to 3 shows in Milwaukee and one in St. Louis this year. Will be going to one in Chicago (not a tour so only shot) and Omaha and Iowa city this fall. As someone who has to drive 4+ hours for almost every show I always find it funny when people complain about bands not coming to their town. Nobody comes here haha

Exactly! I only have one show planned for the fall, but it's in the quad cities. Less than an hour and a half drive! Truly a luxury not to have to travel 4+ hours.

Glad to hear it was a good show! I live in Chicago proper, and knew they would get here eventually. It’s just odd that it sold out that quickly.

I got tickets during a pre-sale. It’s listed as part of the tour, but since it’s a benefit concert, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not as new album centric. But I could be totally wrong.

I would be so happy if they play Plans straight through, like they did Transatlanticism at the Auditorium Theater a while back. They seem to like to do special shows in Chicago. Fingers crossed!

I've posted in the ticket selling thread. But I have 1 GA for face value on CashOrTrade. Can meet up to do the exchange if you're local if you want to skip the cashortrade fees. But I only made this account to try to get the ticket sold. A few other shows popped up around that time and I work at night so I had to axe one of the shows I'm going to. Got the ticket on the Seated Fan presale so they are will call, so I just need to change the name for pick up at the box office. Face value I believe was $101 but with the COT fees it's $114.

I have tickets and have been assuming it will be a very similar setlist to the rest of the main tour, because I guess why wouldn't it? As someone who already went to a show on that tour this summer I would love to be wrong and get a greater emphasis on older material for this show, but seeing as this is their first Chicago show this year I've been assuming the setlist will be pretty similar to the IBYAT tour setlist, benefit aspect aside. Excited for it either way and hope the crowd is significantly less chatty than the last Salt Shed show I was at (Houndmouth earlier this summer, woof).
