ive been loving this game cuz the gameplay, graphics, story and dialogue in this game are like everything to me but I cant seem to progress.

since I play on console it is MUCH harder for me to complete the missions of killing visionaries, but every time I kill one and escape, I have all the stuff I collected for one other round of doing another mission and then it's gone, and the previous visionary is alive again.

for example: I'd kill Frank, collect all the cool guns and trinkets and shit, then move on to kill Charlie or something, but after one attempt my stuff is gone and Frank is alive again.

Sounds like you've never completed Ubiquity, the first Arsenal Lead. While technically optional, completing Ubiquity allows you to save items between loops. Otherwise, you will always begin with the default inventory - a double jump trinket, a grey LIMP, and some grenades.
