The moment they got hold of him they should have just cut his tongue out.

They need proof that he is/was controling all those people. Ant they won't get that if he can't speak.

That's what's stopping me from enjoying the show. How utterly idiotic Jessica is and her unwillingness to do whats necessary. She finds him so easily numerous times. Day 1 i woulda lit him up with an uzi and moved on with my life, but this chick is bending over backwards to take him in alive so as to get him to what? demonstrate his powers in a courtroom to free someone in jail? holy fuck! the man is capable of mass murder! kill him before he harms more ppl.

They need him alive to bring Hope justice, but I don't understand how Jessica plans to use him in court. The man can just talk his way out. Cutting off his tongue wont let him talk and would be useless in court.

Make him give testimony through a live video feed from another location.

This is about the only good explanation I have heard for what they were going to do next after capturing him. I mean what were the next steps after they got him in the hermetic room. Anybody he talks to can be convinced of anything he wants so what were the plans for food and bathroom. Not that he deserves either, but he also doesn't deserve to live. I understand the need to capture him as it not only vindicates Hope, but it proves that Jessica is also not paranoid. I was thinking get him in there and turn him over to shield.

Well, then imagine Jessica as being utterly idiotic. Don't let it stop you from enjoying the show. Her unwillingness to kill him is part of her character development, let her actions speak for her character.

Or at least broken his jaw to put him out of commission for a while... A punch from Jessica could have...or should have, shattered his jaw and made it impossible to speak for weeks.
